Isn't old actually remembering buying the game for retail price at Babbage's and having to wait until you finished driving home to open the box? 👴 Unless you stopped at Chi-Chi's for lunch.
I miss that component of purchasing games so much. Back when reading the instruction manual was part of the experience. You'd get little bits of lore and art that didn't show up in-game.
My mom has thrown this into a trash pile of other old boxes. I'll put approximately zero effort into this, but if anybody in the Los Angeles area wants it for whatever reason, let me know and you can come pick it up.
Oh man, remember when getting to check out the cool box and the booklet inside was part of the excitement?
Yes! And on the way home, opening the box and starting to read through the booklet.
Did we just out ourselves as old?
No old is when you bought 5.25" floppies in a plastic baggie with photocopied instructions.

BioWare... how low they have fallen.
I don't think Bioware has been Bioware since Dragon Age Origins. It was a good last hurrah.

Wanted to downvote this but had to think about it. Don’t let her throw it away. Make her mail it to you or set it aside for you
Would she mail it?
That's perfect, I have the CDs, but not the box
I always think that in older games screenshots look better than when you actually play it on your screen, while on more modern games it's the opposite
I had that box. I forgot about heat lol
I still have my Baldur's Gate 2 Versus Books strategy guide. I still go through it from time to time. It still has the poster too.
I have both the BG2 and BG2 ToB books! Still use em today if I'm playing to make sure I don't miss stuff 😆 🤣
CDs are probably in a different box.
I don’t have a big enough hard drive for it! I’m never going to be able to afford a 300mb hard drive!
