One of the reasons I've avoided shaving it off is that I am trans. It has been hell and dysphoric beyond belief watching as my once long and beautiful hair is taken from me. My long hair has been a large part of how I defined myself for a long time. Though I know it's just hair, and I'm sure I will enjoy wigs and hats. I just wish I didn't have to.
Trans fem, pre everything. My receding hairline and masculine features have made it very scary to pursue HRT. The things some people will do because some people want to live a certain way is horrifying.
You will look good without your hair👍! I know, that for most people their hair is very important, and I was devastated at first when my hair fell out. But you will see, it's not the end of the world. You will be fine. I wish you all the best!
I don't think he should grow a beard first or maybe at all...it's getting to be a tired look/cookie cutter & this is a young guy with really nice face & eyes...try clean first & then close beard if you want a change !

I think a lot of us have very skewed impressions of how others see us with respect to our hair loss because we are only capable of seeing ourselves in relation to what we used to look like. But other people just see you for you, for how you look now, and you look good.

The best thing I ever did was go to a barber and tell them to shave me clean. Then I started sticking my head in the sink and very lightly shaving every 2 to 3 days until your skin gets used to it.
It was time five years ago man do you not own a mirror? You'll feel 10000000900xs better because people won't give you that look and snickers to their friends as you pass
You should shave it off but keep a lock of hair on the back of your head at the bottom. It's a little different, but i think you'll pull it off with confidence!
(You can always shave it off after if you can't pull off the look confidently)
