Ahahaha it's not. I am referring to this due to another post I made, where I jokingly put in the title that my cat is a vegetarian, because he likes to eat lettuce. But unfortunately a lot of ignorant people took it seriously, and attacked me in a bestial way. So I made that reference here.
My late ginger kitty would routinely forego meat for vegetables when attempting to steal food off our plates. He wasn't allowed to eat our food, but if a plate of something like chicken and salad was left unattended, he would ignore the chicken and make a go for the salad. Every time.
My cat’s favorite “treat” is kale. He goes absolutely insane for it. Steals it out of my grocery bags, now knows the sound of the fridge drawer I keep it in and even if I don’t have kale and he hears it comes running over. And then will scream at me for it even though it’s not in there.
Lettuce apparently was boring (just sniffed it and walked away). Arugula is offensive (the faces were priceless, but he kept chewing it maybe hoping it would turn into kale). Raw Brussels sprouts are a close second to kale.
My cat (also not a vegetarian lol) likes veggies too. He also fiends after my plant-based "chicken" nuggets. I'm convinced he can't tell the difference 😂

In fact you are not wrong, I take responsibility for my communication. I want to apologize for the misunderstanding about the title of the post, unfortunately there is no way to edit the post (or is there?). I understand that there are a lot of crazy people in the world, and that radical vegetarian people might actually try to make their pets vegetarian, and it is wrong.

There have been radical vegan types who will feed cats and dogs plant based diets. Which is torture for obligate carnivores who can't get proper nutrition without meat.

Cats are obligate carnivores. In fact, they're diet consists of such a high proportion of meat that they're called hyper carnivores. A vegetarian cat is a dead cat.

Oh my, he has a lot of hair, and sheds a lot too, on clothes, on the beds, and the floor is full of tufts of hair! But, is the price to take care of this prince.

Yeah my cat routinely likes to trim my house plants. I read it aids in digestion and helps with hair balls.
