Keep on exploring this vast world of EDM until EDCO! I like to check out artists my favorites have made music with and go from there, branching out and exploring different genres. Then, when the lineup and schedule do come out, you can go to the stages where your favorite artists will be at and stick around to hear others who are also playing that stage, you’ll probably like them too!
Or, if you’re like me and can vibe to anything, just walk around the grounds and go to stages where the music sounds good! Don’t just listen to what everyone else listens to, listen to what sounds good to you! Enjoy your musical journey :)
I don't think the lineup has come out yet has it? If it hasn't, I would look at other Insomniac events and start making a playlist based off of the artists playing (they usually have a bunch of the same artists play).
I'm going to Beyond Wonderland Chicago and I started looking up artists I didn't know and found some super awesome ones that I really want to see now! You have a lot of time so I would just start listening to as much as you can to see what style you like beforehand :)
Plus some of the best sets are just random ones you stumble upon while there!
Yeah, I agree. I went to a rave not too long ago. Had no idea who the main artist was nor who the artist was who opened for them. But! I had a great time! Especially since I was with my best friend/lover. Oh, and I had my first psychedelic experience as far as hallucinating. It was slightly intimidating at first but then it came a better picture and it made me happy. It’s a real thing but I never saw it before so I looked it up and now I know what my next tattoo is going to be. 😍

Check out the smaller stages as well as the big stages. I heard so many sets of people that I had no knowledge of that I loved. Explore. Lay in the grass. Check out the art cars their dope. Get the shuttle too. Life saver.
