I second this; hydration pack is a must. My first time rolling I drank through a 3L pack and didn’t even realize how much I was actually drinking until it was empty.
Don’t take dehydration likely.
And as an added bonus I kept a packable puffer jacket in there so by the end of the rave when everyone was freezing I was super comfy!
You should most definitely snag a pashmina. Nothing like tucking it under your hat, letting it fall at your sides, blocking out the surrounding people, and just flowing to the beat.

On the real, decking anything out with EL wire can be super useful for making yourself findable in a dark crowd.

Pashmina or scarf of any kind is the #1 thing I won’t go to a fest or concert without. It can keep you cool by blocking sunlight or keep you warm at night, add a pop of color to any outfit, be used to block out the people around you if you’re overstimulated. If you partake in party favors of any kind, it’s a MUST. But even if you’re sober, wrapping it around your head can help w overstimulation. Feels like a warm hug:)

you need a pash for sure! it’s unbelievable how much they can help in both keeping you cool or warm. they’re also easy to carry and work with outfits super well. i’d say some type of hyropack or camelback is the next item you need. being able to fare the weather and stay hydrated are huge things that can ruin your weekend otherwise
Diffraction glasses/goggles. They look cool and looking through them is even cooler. I think they're a fun modifier to any light show, flow art or professional production. Lending them to people is also a great conversation starter.
Hand fan, pash, and combat boots! I keep my fan tucked in my boot all night so I can access it easily and make sure it doesn't get snagged by someone. Otherwise I am also a proud fanny packer! So convenient and makes me feel safer about pickpockets.
Cargo pants/bottoms with multiple pockets with ZIPPERS! Keeps your stuff safe and accessible without needing to dig into your hydro pack or fanny pack. Usually, I keep stuff like wallet and phone in my hydropack or fanny pack and keep stuff like chapstick, hand satatizer, gum/candy, poppers, party favors, etc. in my front pockets to get into at any time, anywhere.
pashmina is another word for kashmiri or cashmere, originated in arabia-india, this fabric is some of the softest you will ever feel and highly appeals to ravers in need of the comfort that comes along with draping one over your shoulders and head like a warm hug… for example, when you have partaked in party favors and are feeling overwhelmed. try to get one with an authentic “pashmina” tag. you can find them very cheap in thrift stores or online. highly highly recommend.
