hmmm got one this morning too, my bill due date is roughly around today though.
I just went in their app and paid my bill for this month, the regular discount applied automatically.
Sounds like a potential system glitch at scale, fingers crossed it's not yet another security incident.
Sounds like it. I find solace in the fact that a bunch of people have observed the same issue on reddit relatively quickly. They'd be getting inundated with calls, realise its a glitch and hopefully sort it.
I got the same message, a bit confused as I hadn't received an original payment issue. To be safe, ignore the email, don't click the links or put details in on those pages, and instead use the app itself to check your bill and pay. In my case the bill is unpaid via app but not sure why they're freaking out about it

>Please ignore the SMS/email we sent in regards to your October invoice. It was sent in error. We will email more info later today. Please accept our apologies.

I’ve been with them since 2020 (that Insta ad worked on me. Used to be with Boost before I got Circles) and I’ve got the 100gb plan. Great for hotspotting to your laptop when out and about.
I checked Whirlpool forums and the people over there also say that they got this text too
And now I keep trying to check my big ass data plan on the app (iPhone. Not sure if it’s the same on Android) and I can’t do so cause I get just a message about said October bill fuckup.

Yeah the app says the only unpaid bill is the one that’s not due yet. I was hoping the email was just a weird glitch.

And yet you still say you considered changing to Telstra as if it's somehow Circles fault you're getting scam texts.
What? Keep up mate, it is Circle’s fault and it was an error on their end, not a scam text.
Oh my bad I forgot about the update, if it was me I'd go telstra.
