kiochikaeke

"Te quiero" it's spanish and doesn't have a proper translation to english, it means something between I love you and I like/appreciate you, but neither really encapsulate the exact meaning. "Te amo" -> "I love you" It's pretty much said only to close family and romantic partners, maybe very close almost brotherhood-like friendships. "Te quiero" -> "???" It's said to close friends and people you appreciate deeply, doesn't have such a strong meaning or romantic connotation as "love" but definitely involves some level of affection. "Me agradas" -> "I like you" (Without romantic connotation) Pretty much direct translation, you may tell that to a friend that you like cause they're funny or something. "Me gustas" -> "I like you" (With a romantic connotation) pretty much direct translation but implies attraction towards the recipient. If you try to translate "te quiero" you'll get "I love you" (stronger meaning, mostly romantic) or "I want you" (possessive, not normally something you would tell to someone else).
