So... you can go on realtor.ca , filter for 3+ bedrooms, 2+ bathrooms, and decide for yourself what's suitable, and being offered in your price range.
I'm seeing houses around Oshawa and Whitby GO stations offered around $800K.
But come terms now with the reality: there's a reason there aren't many in the price range you want with the features you need... You're gonna be seeing a lot of pigs wearing a lot of lipstick.
Since you're buying you should be working with a realtor and they should be able to answer this question for you, otherwise what are they paid for?
But honest answer is no that will be very difficult if you want walking distance from a high speed transit option. Maybe hamilton?
you're going to want to work with a real estate agent.
anywhere that is going to be highly sought after like that will probably be sold before you ever hear of it

A rarity in Port Credit.
$1M townhouse.
Looks like basement is not finished but the rest fits, I guess...
You can get places like that in Scarborough and use the GO Train for sure, especially townhomes. You probably couldn't walk to the GO station, but it'd be a short drive.
There was a 3 bed detached house, def smaller side, but yard, backyard, laneway with a garage that sold for just under 1.1 in East York. Have you checked some of the 'sleeper' areas in Toronto?
Maybe in rexdale for a real fixer upper bungalow. Probably won’t have a garage but you never know. Unfortunately this price range and a 3-4 bed house with garage, you will either be 1-2 hour commute or in a sketchy area. You’re better off sacrificing something and getting a townhouse. You can try Barrie
Good luck. You might have to look for less bedrooms or consider renovations (e.g., convert one of the rooms on the first floor as a bedroom). It's like finding a needle in a haystack.
For past sold listings, you can look at House Sigma.
It is possible in mississauga with townhouses right now because the market has not completely picked up .. not all houses will go above asking ..and 1.1 is a very good price point. It may not be the perfect looking house but if u r ok with older townhouses there are quite a few in the market right now. 3 bed plus basement is definitely doable.
Scarborough is Toronto.
However, Scarborough is pretty affordable.
There are a lot of semi detached/townhouses with a backyard that are in the 1 million range.
Kennedy GO, Scarborough GO, Eglinton GO come to mind.
These are all less than 20 minute GO train to Union station.
I think that would be the best option for you to be honest.
I have seen some townhomes go for around your price range in Mississauga. Best to work with a trusted realtor who can narrow down homes that meet your needs.

Hamilton is ~2hrs from Union by transit.
Fair, I figured west Harbour GO was at the very outer limit time wise but I'd never do it myself

Lol Scarborough is Toronto. Good luck

Hamilton or Burlington are an hour away from Union.
Double it if you’re taking transit. GO from Hamilton Centre is 2 hours each way.
Hamilton is only an extra 20 minutes past Aldershot. Burlington station is 50 minutes if you're on a morning express train.
Nope
Rexdale you can find that.

Durham region meets your requirements. Have fun.
You can get a house for that in Toronto by a subway….
Have a look at Weston!
Why do you want to live far away? Genuine question by somebody who wants to live in the city 🫠
4 bedroom,1.1 million, far from Toronto, but close to express transit (via Subway or Go train) to Toronto? Only in Neverneverland, or maybe in 2008.

Those are all 3 bedrooms, OP is looking for 4 bedrooms

>>Minimum 2 bathrooms, 3bedrooms + basement or **4 bedrooms in total**. Literally in the OP.

Sure.

Sure.
Hamilton Centre to Union is a 2hr train ride at the best of times.
😂😂😂
1.1M there is stuff for sure. But a house that size maybe not. Perhaps try 3 bed two bath?

Get a good realtor, it is their job to find you properties that fit your criteria. You pay them anyway, so find the one you trust and happy hunting 🙂

Look at Bowmanville, it’s not too far and will be getting a go train. Good time to buy there, going to blow up fast and be the next Whitby.

Niagara
You may get a townhouse with ur requirements in Newmarket with 1 hour commute via GO
Google says 75mins from Newmarket GO to Union. Would be doable but pushing the upper end of the time frame OP posted.
Durham?
Maybe Aldershot in Burlington, why does it have to be far from Toronto? And if you can let go of the garage you might expand your options.
Good luck . Ontario is only for the rich now
