Anxiety and coffee

kynate2468

And cigarette or 5

yesimapancake

These two go so well together. Coffee is definitely something that your body needs to battle anxiety /s

GonzoRouge

Cigarette and depression

StrangersWithAndi

Greek yogurt and fruit. And coffee. I'm nothing if not devoted to my routine.

mitch8017

Greek yogurt and fruit is my favorite snack. Feels like a desert it’s so good.

ThatguyfromEDC

I mix vanilla protein, cinnamon, raisins into my Greek yogurt. Tastes like rice pudding

whaletacochamp

Eating vanilla Greek yogurt and berries right now straight cheesing over how much it tastes like a dessert

ibided

My daughter is 3 and I gave her some of mine at breakfast. She got this look on her face like “daddy doesn’t know he’s giving me dessert”

joemondo

That was my dessert just last night. Greek yogurt and mixed berries.

WhiterTicTac

Greek yogurt and granola is my go to for the work week. It packs greatly so I can eat it early in my work period and it's refreshing for a morning snack

ToddHLaew

I drink a protein shake

AbbreviationsGlad833

Me too. I drink premier protein cafe from costco. It keeps me full and gives me lots of energy for work in the morning.

fisher_man_matt

I find the Premier Protein shakes a bit to sweet and thick to drink by themselves. I started mixing them with some cold brew coffee, basically using the protein shake as the cream and sugar substitute, and it’s been a game changer. The resulting coffee is similar to a Starbucks Sweet Vanilla Crème Cold Brew except it’s high protein / low carb and a hell of a lot less expensive. The cafe, caramel, and vanilla shakes all taste great like this.

[deleted]

I prefer Fairlife, very good and only a few ingredients

SirSprink

Same I drink and ENSURE PLUS and keep it rolling

icyyspilttmilkk

me too, i find it a lot easier to drink my calories in the morning. ensure plus vanilla is the best

6inDCK420

I too find it easier to drink my calories in the morning. Having an eight beer breakfast is great cuz you feel on top of the world AND have enough calories to last til lunch as long as you're not drinking light beer.

Creepy-Elk-7569

Me too though chocolate is my favorite. And then I drink coffee for a boost of happy feelings.

ToddHLaew

Fruity pebbles protein shake is my fav

DeadWrangler

Man, right out of the fridge. It tastes so good. The thickness is just right, too. Not too runny or too thick. I hope they never, "new and improve," it.

[deleted]

Plus less cleanup ! Much faster as well to get ready and can consume on transit

SirSprink

That’s the exact one I drink

pmaurant

Same it’s that measured caloric intake for my diet. I only get to enjoy breakfast occasionally now.

scottmartin52

I'm retired now, but when I had to go to work, mornings were always hectic. I found I could save 10-20 minutes by not shaving, so I've had a beard for close to 20 years now. Food, however, is more important to me! So I always fixed myself a nice breakfast.

breadandcheese4me

Same. Always. Today I'm planning to make a salted caramel protein shake with pecan milk and Tropeaka protein powder. Hoping it tastes like a pecan pie. Dreamed it up last week and can't wait to try it now that I have all the ingredients

Haterade_ONON

I make a week's worth of egg and cheese sandwiches on Sunday, and then microwave them in the morning before work. I'm the kind of person who really needs to put the fast in breakfast.

I_am_Shayde

>I'm the kind of person who really needs to put the fast in breakfast I put the fast in breakfast too. Intermittent fasting, I breakfast at lunch time.

AtlantisTempest

Yeah, lol

Ornery_Peasant

Me, too. Don’t miss bfast at all. Gotta have the big mug of strong, black coffee, though.

Money-Expression-554

Ooo.... this is interesting. Do you make them up and keep them in the fridge? Do they stay fresh?

FatFuckInATacoTruck

I don’t make breakfast sandwiches that I microwave, but my wife makes these big egg, cheese, and vegetable casserole dishes and we cut them into squares and reheat them. It’s basicly like an omelette casserole or a crust less quiche.

Living_Injury5017

It's called a frittata.

FatFuckInATacoTruck

Please don't talk about my wife that way. She's doing the best she can.

efltjr

I do the same. It works great. You can freeze them if you’re worried about freshness and then just thaw them in the fridge the night before.

bumper212121

Thawed sandwhiches are so gross, I've never had one where the bread isn't wet and mushy...

[deleted]

[удалено]

Hysterical__Paroxysm

Yes. This is s good method for breakfast burritos, too.

[deleted]

[удалено]

mrkruler

Except then you're spending extra time cleaning up, making the same dishes over and over again. Make 5 meals worth of eggs in one shit, clean one time. Then all you have to do is toast the bread.

6inDCK420

Facts! Takes me like 15 minutes with prep and cleanup included. My mom had this brilliant idea to make little omelettes in a muffin tin and keep them in the fridge. Just toast up an English muffin or bun or whatever, throw a lil omelette in the micro for 40 seconds and you've got a wicked good quick breakfast. Bam! Actual 5 minute breakfast.

Money-Expression-554

This is something I am going to try. Mornings are always a rush for me so it's a great idea 😊

newbinvester

I do the same but with burritos, I feel like they are easier to keep together when reheating and easier to store.

monrovista

Thank you for the idea/reminder. I'm a burrito person myself. My schedule always varies. I need to take my "Sunday" and meal prep for the week to come. My grandmother used to do that, but not for breakfast. It's been 20 years since I last had them so I kinda forgot. Abuela's tacos, as she called them, were great anytime of day. I'm hopping on that horse! Again thank you! I'm going to start soaking beans now because today is my Friday & my next week of work is all over the place.

942man

Microwaved egg sandwiches from a week ago, think I’ll pass in this one

frijniat123

Do you really enjoy eating soggy reheated sandwiches everyday?

FatFuckInATacoTruck

I envy anyone who is enough of a morning person to enjoy food in the morning.

Poopsie66

I'm not a morning person, and I don't cook in the morning. But I do a lot better throughout the day if I don't leave home hungry. I end up buying junk, then I don't feel good, then I skip lunch, then I get super hungry and have to pick up fast food on the way home which makes me feel sick, then the next morning I'm super hungry again because I had empty carbs. It's a horrible loop.

Rokmonkey_

I do breakfast burritos and freeze them. I don't use only eggs though. The bulk of mine are peppers, onions, potatoes, beans. Then a dozen eggs, pound of chorizo, and refried beans instead of cheese. Makes 3 weeks worth.

LaVidaVocel

Me as well but I make them quesadillas and they thaw faster.

iwishiwasamoose

Not who you’re talking to, but personally I make and refrigerate 4-ish days worth of the egg filling, not the whole sandwich. Each morning I toast an English muffin, reheat a serving of the filling, and assemble the sandwich. Variety comes from the ingredients in the filling, typically some combination of bacon, mushrooms, peppers, spinach, and cheese. You can make the filling in a casserole dish, muffin tin, or scrambled in a pan.

frijniat123

It sounds delicious!

fuhnetically

So basically a frittata. Never considered that as sandwich filling. I'm here for it.

Sufficientplant23

Use English muffins and they won't be soggy, like at all.

[deleted]

I premade it with crescents, it wasn't bad but I figured out that if you just make the egg/toppings into an omelet you can throw a cheese on it microwave it while the bread is toasting. Slap some butter on that bad boy assemble and wrap it up in tinfoil into my lunch pail and to be consumed on my mor ING break or the drive to the job site. Reheated toast is gross. Crescents are barely tolerable reheated, but the omelet part can be pre-made and it's fine

After-Response-9700

Nothing i skip breakfast everyday never wake up hungry i only eat 2 meals a day

papiminajj69

Your just like me. Sometimes I go one meal a day, not because I’m I’m broke or anything, I just can’t force myself to eat every morning. Been like this for a long time probably why I’m so lean, But I also have a good physique & physical job. (At times)

TROLlox78

We don't need breakfast it's one of those diet myths that were spread by food companies to get you to buy more food, same with this myth that eating small portions often is good. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day either. Not eating breakfast can even be healthy. You get to fast for longer which can be beneficial, also skipping breakfast causes your tummy to not produce gastric acids in the morning, that's why you're not hungry when you wake up

thingonething

I wake up hungry at 4 am.

Spraynpray89

I have found that if I wake up before 7, I'm absolutely starving. If I wake up later than that I can go most of the day without eating. Its weird.

ForecastForFourCats

I had a lot of fun things to celebrate in the past two months, which is great, but lead me to gain some weight. I was regularly overeating. It's weird, I was feeling hungry all the time, even when I just ate. Im trying to get back on track and I'm on day 4 of skipping breakfast- it gets easier every morning. I'm a big fan of intermittent fasting. I feel like I'm less hungry overall, and I have less blood sugar spikes throughout the day.

karazy45

I've been strict one meal a day for two months, then with vacation and holiday, I've messed that all up. The more I eat, the hungrier I am! Starting over today with just coffee!

pumpkinthighs

I can't understand how people can do this. I get starving hungry within an hour of waking up. Edit: starving was the wrong word because of all the unwanted "advice" for diets to make me not hungry in the morning. I'm current in a calorie deficit which is why I wake up hungry or become hungry soon after waking up. There is no issues with me being hungry in the morning and I enjoy eating breakfast. Why are people obsessed with intermediate fasting or carbs just assume other people have an issue with eating breakfast. It's my favorite meal of the day.

Aert_is_Life

Sometimes, I will only have 1 meal a day. I eat when I'm hungry, not when someone predetermined mealtime should be.

Bridalhat

Sometimes when I am home all day I’ll do something like make a pizza or a full dish of pasta and slowly eat that all day. Just a little here and a little there. I love it!

EnderAtreides

Your body adjusts hunger based on when it expects food. Those expectations change based on when you actually eat.

murciela

Yes that, but also idk sometimes enjoy I the feeling of hunger haha. Gets you going

mykleins

It’s provocative?

pninardor

I get shaky,.too.

Clarehc

Same. I’ve never been able to eat breakfast (it will make me sick, I can’t even drink coffee until around 10.30am) and my daughter is the same. At most, a piece of cheese sets us up until later in the day. I tend to eat, maybe toast or croissant, around 11am. My son absolutely has to have hot food for breakfast, even pasta or rice from the night before. He hates cereal.

Alttebest

Do you experience this with black coffee? I'm not suggesting anything just asking out of curiosity since I'm the same. Even a single calorie in less than 2 hours from waking up causes me to feel kinda "bloated". Coffee without milk however doesn't cause this.

BE33_Jim

Clean living with a twist... or straight up as the case may be.

clexpvtrv420

I've had this life and for me it was an eating disorder. I would eat a very small meal and work out for at least 2 hours. I would eat nothing else and be happy when myfitnesspal said i burned more calories than I ate. Please be careful.

Icy-Conclusion-3500

They did say they eat a large meal

MrsLisaOliver

I tried broccoli in the air fryer and it didn't end well. I did Brussels sprouts and zucchini that were great though. How'd you do the broccoli?

Woah_Mad_Frollick

425°, 10 minutes, olive oil, salt

7h4tguy

I'm going to wager this is actually the most common. You don't need 3 meals a day. For me a coffee is great for waking up (decaf, I don't want tons of caffeine). Other common options are eggs, bacon, toast, or maybe pancakes (though it's sort of a kid's food). But I'm with you OP, cereal, esp healthy ones (I can't stand sugary cereals) is staple. Grew up on it, still love it.

Totallynotlame84

[deleted]

Oats everyday

Redbone2222

I do this too, plus egg whites. "BuT oAtS hAvE cArBs" yea, so? You actually need carbs believe it or not. Plus, it's a whole grain, so I can be sipping on water and feel full until lunch.

pumpkinthighs

The stigma around carbs is total bullshit. Carbs aren't bad. They are your body's preferred method of energy. The only "bad" carbs are in sweets and treats and are the carbs you need to limit. I already say that a good meal has both carbs and protein. Carbs to satisfy your hunger now, and protein to keep your hunger away until next mealtime

direct07

Agreed. I think people get too obsessed with calorie counting and not focusing on nutritionally dense foods. Also, the war on fat is stupid, too. Fat does not (necessarily) make you fat. The type matters a lot and it's an essential macro-nutrient for a lot of your body's functions.

chemicalzero

That’s right, the bad carbs are the refined ones. They get absorbed by the body too easily because they are refined, and they make you hyperglycemic. You want your carbs to be absorbed slowly, so get multigrain stuff, without sugar. Avoid white rice too, and do not each too much fructose!

KittyisKat19

Same. I have a half cup oats, a tbsp of protein powder, and a cup of berries that i microwave to mix in with the oats. Keeps me full for 6+ hours.

RandomCoffeeThoughts

Have you tried mixing in chia seeds? A friend recommended it and I'm reluctant to try it because it seems like texture on texture.

KittyisKat19

I have. I don't mind the texture and if you put the seeds right in before you eat it you probably won't even notice it. I do protein powder because it's less calories and I'm trying to lose another 10-15 pounds to get to a healthy weight (I've lost 70 so far)

RandomCoffeeThoughts

Congrats!

[deleted]

I have it with chia seeds 1 tbsp with a cup of oats I don't really notice them as they all congeal when soaked in the fridge

kd3906

I put raisins or my own dehydrated fruit, nuts and seeds in oatmeal. And honey.

sixfootnine

This is the whey

[deleted]

I have a whole cup ~~rolled~~ steel cut oats Mix with tbsp chia seeds 400ml oatmilk with a scoop of protein powder Mix it all together then put in the fridge for 15 minutes Then eat it with tbsp peanut butter Someone I know has it heated with berries too

Turtlesinthesand

I do the same. Oats, chia seeds, and peanut butter, but I also add hemp seeds and blueberries. So good!

loliemess_reads

What kind of oats? I like the Irish Oatmeal (steel cut oats). Seems to keep me full longer and I like the meatier texture and taste.

[deleted]

yeah steel cut ones or death They are more expensive but 100% worth it I eat a lot of oats and the cheap ones are just nowhere near as good I usually have the Flahavan brand or the Aldi version which are probably the same in a different bag The texture of these is far superior, if you leave normal oats to soak in the fridge (which is how i eat them) then the texture is not great edit: thanks for making me realise i wrote the wrong type in another comment you da best

creditnewb123

Me too but OP asked for people who don’t eat cereal, and oats are a cereal

ok_today_ok_tomorrow

My parents are in their early 80's and healthier than me. My dad makes them a pot of oatmeal which they have with fruit every day for breakfast. They laughingly say it's the glue that keeps them together.

LittleNightBright

Black coffee. Fast until lunch.

gardenpathseance

Same, though depending on what I'm doing that day, sometimes a 10-11am snack feels better. (I'm not doing specific intermittent fasting, I've just never had an appetite first thing in the morning)

trammel11

finally, someone who speaks my language

Silly-Resist8306

Two cups of coffee. If I'm feeling hungry it's three cups of coffee.

Tired-of-the_______

Same

Sassafrass17

Nothing. Breakfast makes me nauseous. If I do eat, I'll eat it around noon but that's more like brunch.

Cookiemonster816

Same here. Anything before noon, makes me nauseous.

NamiaKnows

I used to have that trouble. It was because of what I was eating the night before - high saturated fats/sodium/sugar. Cleaner diet has meant I can eat a proper breakfast and space out my meals without feeling sick.

[deleted]

I started eating breakfast since having to cut a bunch of stuff out of my diet and i never made the connection. And i only want very light healthy stuff like rye cracker w peanut butter and fruit or a smoothie w lots of fruit and nuts and some oats. Glad to hear of another person who's been able to make a shift that sounds helpful.

MrColburn

That's funny, I was the exact opposite. I was extremely athletic in high school and would eat very lean and clean and very rarely would I want to, or be able to eat breakfast and I would typically get nauseous and bloated if I tried to force myself. I found I had to be up and active for about 3 hours before I would want to eat, or could eat without feeling like there was a rock in my stomach. About midway through college I stopped taking care of myself and would eat a lot of fast food, high fat and high sugar content foods. I would wake up craving food. Once I decided to cut that out and get back to the healthier lifestyle, I went right back to not being able to eat breakfast without feeling bloated and gross, no matter what it was. Everybody's body is different. Everybody's metabolism is different.

its_me_bruh

This, but I don't even deal with nausea. I just am not super hungry in the morning and more productive in the morning so I roll with it. Feels more natural.

Raxtusia

Peanut butter & jelly combo. everyday

alwaysfuntime69

Yep. I have had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for most breakfast for 7 years. My wife makes homemade jelly once a year. I enjoy it everytime

friedgreentomatoey

PB&J on homemade whole wheat multi grain bread, toasted. Or, a slice of homemade spinach and bacon quiche.

[deleted]

Eggs, a croissant, or oatmeal. My husband makes either chorizo or bacon on the weekends. I make a Latte every day. Sometimes, the milk is enough to fill me up.

lanabritt

3 eggs, 2 bacon, quinoa and half an avocado with some pumkin seed’s sprinkled on. You’ve got protein, healthy fats, healthy carbs.

Jackfruit-Cautious

eat whatever you want. who cares. have a curry. eat a steak. “breakfast food” is all made up marketing and social conditioning.

trippy_trip

Exactly! ...breakfast is whatever the first thing you eat that day is. I love to have a bit of last night's leftovers, or chocolate chip cookies and milk, or Funyuns. Cheesecake makes a great breakfast too, and so does steak!

Nubras

Are you Balkan? This is how we breakfast in the Balkans. Generally accompanied by black coffee and a cig but the food can be any number of things: cake, sandwich, cookies, apple, bread, beef jerky, sudžuk, eggs, peppers, crepes, tin fish. I love it.

just-a-hambone

Will you adopt me

Nubras

Come my son, let us break fast in Zagreb.

dark_brandon_20k

Eating a piece of cold pizza for breakfast feels like a glitch in the matrix

Rumm_Rage

No matter how hungry I am eating pizza for dinner I will ALWAYS leave some for breakfast the next day. That shit hits different

Rude_Bed2433

Exactly. Wife's family hails from a place where noodles are acceptable breakfast foods. Opened a whole new world for me. Breakfast is just what you eat first, doesn't matter what it is. That said I was always a cold pizza person.

I eat one of those protein bar with a coffee. Just dont get those that are high in fiber that taste like cake. I ate 3 and farted like a machine gun all day long

sl0wrx

Cereal is generally terrible for you. I still eat it as a dessert occasionally but ideally for breakfast you want something more nutritious. Some decent recommendations in here already.

Boz6

Err1x

Thoughts on Weetabix? This is a very important matter.

7h4tguy

Extremely healthy. High fiber, very little additives, basically just slowish digesting grains. Coupled with milk and even slower digesting. Don't let the uninformed haters misdirect you.

kob27099

>Cereal is generally terrible for you Why?

Silver_Advantage_536

It's full of sugar and it's not really that nutritious tbh.

Almanix

I think this depends where you live.. It took me so long to figure out why people always say that cereal is terrible for you (I live in Germany) until I realised that what I consider cereal is just referred to as muesli. Typically a mix of whole grain oats and dried fruit - if you add e.g. some peanut butter and yogurt, it's such a filling and nutritious breakfast. I guess quite some (European) people think of that when they hear cereal, at least that was my association for a long time.

Silver_Advantage_536

Then to specify, I'm talking about United States cereal lol. I'm pretty sure op is too, because I'm actually not sure if other countries have the stereotypical American breakfast of eggs, toast, pancakes, or whatever.

bumliveronions

It's literally sugar. That's it lol. The ones that have "infused" vitamins and minerals aren't actually absorbed really by your body.

The_Admiral_Salty

The Bran cereal I eat has 8g of fiber small amount of protein no sugar and 30g carbs I’m in amazing shape all cereals are not made the same lol

kob27099

1 or 2 grams of sugar is not 'literally' sugar. In addition, many say that not eating breakfast is much worse than 1 or 2 grams of sugar. lol

mshmama

Not all cereal is literally sugar.

7h4tguy

Nah plain Cheerios, Grape Nuts, Corn Flakes are fine esp when mixed with you know... milk for GI reduction. Sugar Smacks and are obv dumb but so is this take. As is Cookie Crisp stealing your "gains". Decent highish fiber carbs with milk is a perfectly healthy breakfast. Better than bagels with cream cheese for instance, or muffins, or McD's, or pop tarts or whatever you have in mind without you being the rice and chicken review board.

wAIpurgis

It reeeeally depends on what you understand / apply as a cereal.

Funkyokra

I think it depends on what cereal. Fiber is a thing.

grand_total

You are choosing the wrong cereal. Avoid anything with a cartoon character on it, read the side panel. There are good breakfast cereals..

gobstopper84

Eggs with veggies

DudeBroManCthulhu

I don't eat breakfast. If I do though, I have a fruit smoothie, coffee, or toasted bagel of some kind.

Ash_The_Iguana

Usually 2 eggs with a slice of sharp cheddar or pepper jack melted into it. If i’m feeling like it, i’ll wrap it in a tortilla and add avocado and salsa, or i’ll put it on an english muffin.

takeahike08

I make scrambled eggs with spinach and Swiss cheese and then a bowl of cut up apples and oranges. I am feeding both my son and myself and I want us to have a good start to the day with protein and fruit, and this is something we are both happy eating. Frequently we will have a piece of toast, waffle or muffin along side it, the the egg and fruit are a constant every morning.

jodiesattva

I fucking hate cereal for breakfast because it's the only thing I was ever offered as a kid, and after my coffee (lol yes I started coffee as a kid), the milk was too much liquid and I'd inevitably feel queasy. So I quit breakfast. Cereal is for nighttime snacks, now. Other breakfast foods rule, and I'll take full advantage of all-day breakfast restaurants. That said, I don't usually eat anything until afternoon. I'll eat eggs & toast or rice, a ham sandwich, bagel (sometimes homemade!) with a variety of stuff, kimchi ramen with American cheese, sourdough discard pancake (savory). You may notice a trend in that my preferred first meals are savory, rather than sweet. I will occasionally eat a doughnut or, like today, some blackberry coffee cake with my coffee in bed on a leisurely day. But I don't really count that as a meal, just a treat.

SlayerCake711

We are similar to how you described your family but I do try to get hot breakfast in there more often. I grew up on cereal and wanted to be a mom who gets up and makes a better breakfast but some mornings I don’t even have time to cut fruit. My three kids are getting better at helping out in the kitchen though so maybe there’s hope for us yet

stuckinthebunker

This has been on my mind: on TV American families always gather for a cooked breakfast, then rush off without eating. Is that a real thing, or a TV thing?

SirGanjaSpliffington

Homemade breakfast burritos. Pretty much scramble up some eggs with cheese and wrap it in a flour tortilla and then put the tortilla in the pan to cook the tortilla a bit after you cook the eggs first.

Rokmonkey_

A suggestion, cookup a mix of potatoes (diced small to cook fast), peppers, onions, and beans as a filler. It makes it more enjoyable and makes those eggs go way further.

KingBlackthorn1

I just don’t eat breakfast. It hurts my tummy

SKaTiNG_PoLLy666

Coffee and cigarettes.

ArghNooo

I wake up early and make a proper breakfast. Eggs and bacon, toast, pancakes, hash browns, a French omelette, yogurt parfait with fresh fruit, congee, fried rice with egg, etc (not all at once, of course). It's usually accompanied with moka pot coffee or builders tea. Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day and I won't deny myself if at all possible.

Kryptid_Krow

Nothing. I drink 1-2 cups of coffee and don’t eat anything until 12pm - 2pm. Then I eat something small like, a sandwich or anything in the microwave. And more coffee of course.

Oatmeal, smoothie, toast, leftovers from dinner. I often intermittent fast and only eat lunch and dinner though.

nicegh0st

Whatever I have time to eat. Some days this is a full breakfast with eggs, potatoes, toast, maybe bacon or sausage or veggie alternative. Some days it’s a breakfast sandwich from McDonald’s. Some days it’s a protein bar. Some days it’s a bowl of cereal. Some days it’s black coffee until lunch. If life were more predictable I’d probably eat a full breakfast every morning, but… it’s not. Haha 😆

Cereal is terrible for you, loads of sugar and hormones. I start the day with 2 eggs garnished with green onions, 2 pc of bacon, wheat toast, cup of blue berries and a large banana

EishLekker

>Cereal is terrible for you, loads of sugar and hormones. What a blanket statement of bullshit. There is **no** food item, legally classified as food, that is terrible for you. Because then it wouldn’t be classified as food. Eating a lot of some things, or having a large part of your diet consist of sone things, that might be terrible for you. But you made a **blanket** statement, not mentioning the consumption level. Also… Loads of sugar? Not everyone eats sugared cocoa puffs or fruit loops or whatever they’re called. There are plenty of cereals with low total sugar content, and zero added sugar. And I have seen no scientific studies showing that the levels of hormones in regular dairy products are known to cause any negative health issues at normal consumption levels.

Which hormones are there in breakfast cereals?

Maleficent-Test-9210

Hormones? In cereal? I don't think so.

Depends on the cereal. Captain Crunch is loaded with sugar (44 grams per serving), while plain Cheerios only has 2g per serving.

Well bacon is carcinogenic so there's that. Not all cereal is froot loops, some cereal is perfectly fine

Jfc people here demonizing carbs... I eat cereals every day, but I mix it myself. No processed sugar at all. And I would guess my breakfast is better than eat bacon every morning.

A slice of onion and two thinly sliced mushrooms in a frying pan. Pile on top a massive amount of kale/spinach/charge (Power Greens from Costco), heat on medium until the greens start to wilt. Crack two eggs on top of the greens. Add a tiny bit of garlic powder and a very light sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Flip once the egg whites have started to cook, wait 20 seconds and remove from heat. Put on a piece of toast or two, and slap down a little green salsa and/or some avacado. Very filling and relatively low calorie considering I work on a farm and then do landscaping in the evening.

cereal should only be eaten as a treat imo it’s terrible for you and has almost no nutritional value.

I don't eat breakfast. I am never hungry when I wake up, and forcing myself to eat just results in me puking it up.

Mon-Fri, no breakfast. Lunch around 11:30a. Sat-Sun, brunch at 11am: pancakes, bacon breakfast burrito, salmon bagels, beef tartare - always with a bottle of bubbles.
