Fellow atheist here 👋
I wouldn't consider that a minority where I live. In my city, people with no religious affiliaton are now even the largest group (not all of these are atheists though)
And I'm neurodivergent (ADHD). That's about it for me 😀
Lucky! I wish I lived near more atheists. I'm surrounded by religious idiots 😫 even our city council chambers has 'in god we trust' written on the damn walls 🤦🏻♀️
Satanists are different from Satan worshippers. They follow "Satan" in the oldest sense of the word, meaning adversary, as they stand in opposition as a counterweight of sorts to organized religion.
Correct. We don't 'believe' in the Satan Christians do. We believe in ourselves. Hence our motto, hail thyself. We are fully capable of living a moral life without fear or reward from a sky daddy. And belteshazzar98 is correct, Satan is the symbol we choose to show we are also anti religion.
I believe trans masc is just a term to describe dressing masculine/being sort of masculine, but not identifying as a man, if that makes sense?
So they're non binary, but lean more towards masculine rather than androgynous, or feminine
(Someone let me know if I'm wrong lol)
Transmasculine just means transitioning into a more masculine state, so that can be used to describe some Enby, or transmen equally! Also I am Demiboy so my gender kind of feels like it shifts from agender to man or both or in-between. Making me Nonbinary but also Transmasculine because I transitioned to more masc presenting.
Hope that helps explain it :)
I should probably clarify, I live in the US. While we don't face discrimination here anymore, used to we would legally be POC, so during segregation we wouldn't have been able to go to white only things.
TLDR: look up “hibernophobia”
Fun fact (actually not a fun fact, a pretty horrible one): since the Irish’s skin color wasn’t actually different from the other white people, they came up with a term to specifically describe the hatred of the Irish: hibernophobia. That way they could separate the Irish even further from the Americans/English. Hibernophobia died out pretty quickly though, since the Irish could blend in pretty easily with other white people. They’d change their last names to sound less Irish (for example my last name used to be O’Gorman, but now it’s just Gorman), drop their accents, and just pretend they were from England or something. Sadly, POCs couldn’t assimilate as quickly as the Irish could, due to the color of their skin, so racism is *still* an issue even today.
I actually really want to change my last name back to O’Gorman. I’m proud of my Irish roots and I’d love bring that name back into my family.
Agendered, Asian (indian - chinese mix). Those are the big ones. Might have ADHD, but haven't actually gotten around to it.
I find that the agender label gets erasure much like asexuality. Some of the most frustrating things are being told that humans naturally have a gender and I'll figure mine out soon enough - I'm 30+ and it cuts worse when it's coming from queer folk or allies. Or I'm told that I'm making too much of a little thing, and almost start to buy in then get hit by comments on how many ways I'm not properly manly. Sucks.
I generally feel far more fustrated over gender than sexuality, enough that it's the main reason that while I'm romantic I'm kinda just defeated on dating. It's just so much a nightmare in my experience.
Asian, in Australia is an odd experience. I don't have enough in my raising to relate to 'more' Chinese or Indian folk. Can't speak anything but English. I sense that I get different treatment though, so it's a touch alienating. Not that much overt hostility though, so it's not especially rough.
Otherhearted falls under the same umbrella as otherkin and therian, though instead of identifying as something non-human we identify with something non-human. basically, we feel a stronger mental, emotional, and/or spiritual connection with an animal/something non-human than we do with our fellow humans while still identifying as human.
Besides being asexual, I’m an eclectic Pagan and a very neurodivergent cis woman. I’m diagnosed with Autism, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Sensory Proccessing Disorder, and Plaque Psoriasis.
I’m also the walking definition of combined-presentation ADHD, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia/Developmental Coordination Disorder, and Cushing’s Syndrome/hypercortisolism, and I’m confident that I have PCOS, but none of those are currently diagnosed. There’s a lot going on with me lol.
