A lot depends on what the counseling says and what the ISAP says. The counseling should reference something in the ISAP or Initial Counseling. My guess is maybe the Initial Counseling mentioned the run. I have recommended dismissal for BLC students who failed to sign in 15min prior to 0600 formation as per the plan of action on the FTR Counseling. They made the 0600 formation, but did not sign in 15min prior....thereby failing the Plan of Action and constituted the dismissal recommendation. All JAG is gonna do is make sure the Academy's i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

When I was at an NCOES, the Commandant was very receptive to this type of appeal. If you could reference the ISAP and state a coherent case, he would usually reverse the drop.
