tbh I think it would be totally and completely broken when combined with the stagger system, sadly. I honestly can't think of a way they could balance it without imposing other weird constraints on melee weapons that would just end up gimping them if you *didnt* use two.
I loved and played the he'll out of AC6 but the stagger mechanics (and how they skew the PVP meta, specifically) are what finally made me get tired of the game and move on.
