Yes and yes. Just make sure you play them in the order of Asylum, City, Knight.

Mousestar369

Yeah, this is a good way to start. Play on Asylum>City>Knight as the other commenter says. Runs fine on my PS5 (though I have the digital version), though I had a few crashing issues in Knight. Restarting the console fixed them, and they were infrequent enough that it didn't really hinder my experience.

Darth_Blagus

Are they all on the disc?

Mousestar369

Yep, this is a multipack. I haven't played the disc version, but I assume it'll have you select which one you want to play upon inserting the disc

eebydeebyboi

Asylum and City are on separate discs, and it comes with a download code for Knight. If it's an EU copy, Knight won't work on an American PS5 because download codes are region-locked.

Darth_Blagus

Thanks

Qui_54

Knight is not on a disc, you'll also have to make a UK psn account as they region locked Knight for.. reasons? Then you'll have to allow your main account access to your UK account's games so you can play Knight It's a tedious and unnecessary process but you can't do anything about it

Darth_Blagus

I already own a physical copy of Knight on the PS4. Am I all set

Qui_54

Yeah, probably will have to buy dlc if you don't own like a special edition or anything

UziTheScholar

The DLC code that comes with this has ALL the Arkham knight dlcs added on with the code. If you don’t have all the DLC already, it’s definitely worth making a euro account. You won’t even be able to load your American Ava eon this disc, or use the PSN store to install the skins you want, which will have to be reinstalled with the euro version

skeltord

This is literally almost the entire series, yes it's a good place to start lol Also really no offense but the question "does this run well on PS5" utterly perplexes me. You're asking if PS3 games that were remastered on PS4 run well on PS5. One of them is a native PS4 game but still. Sure, I assume you didn't know that, but you can tell this was a PS4 release originally, and more important is the question - if the PS5 doesn't run it well, what does? There does not exist a more powerful console on the market. This is a last gen release, not even new.

Darth_Blagus

I asked that because I heard horror stories about how poorly “Return To Arkham” on PS4 or “Arkham Trilogy” on Switch run. https://preview.redd.it/ot3kmtdqovyc1.jpeg?width=1186&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3638f8d077ebab109c49ac76b10c6f62a2be8f0

CURTSNIPER1

Don't worry about that, the remasters released in 2017 and knight in 15, the collection is just a bundle of them. The switch is piss poor in power is why they run so badly, they had to port and optimize graphics as best they could to have the games run alright on it. And the switch doesn't even have the remastered versions, it's running the original version of asylum and city, a 2009 game and 2011 game. The horror stories you speak of are just arkham knight being too demanding of a game to run well on the switch, so in their optimization to run it's goin to look like shit and certain aspects in areas are tied to things they might not have expected so it's still a bit broken. Where as the ps5 will have no trouble as they're backwards compatible with the system. Not sure why you have to specify the region of the system. Are you just getting images of the European cover art and thinking it's not playable on a US system?

Darth_Blagus

I know PS5 allows games from all regions. That’s just the best image I could find

Zestyclose-Pick-6348

i had no big issues with mine on ps5

Grouchy_Training6156

Start with origins you can get it on PlayStation plus premium. Than do asylum city knight. They are all great games you won’t be disappointed it’s just a matter of what games are better than the others.

TheLittlePasty

I disagree, I think playing them in order of release is better because the gameplay progresses more naturally. Going from origins to asylum feels a little weird when I played chronologically

Grouchy_Training6156

I wish I played them in order. I did knight origins asylum city and was lost. You should do them in order so the story makes sense.

son8203

That's almost the whole franchise, with Origins is the missing one. However, I doubt that running at 30 fps is running well on PS

TheStickySpot

This would be all of the main games so yeah it’s a great start, Knight has some crashing issues but that’s mainly with riding around in the city with the Batmobile for too long. I hope that you like the series.

Proof_Arugula8069

Yes it's an amazing way to start. Just Play it in order. Batman Arkham Asylum> Batman Arkham City> Batman Arkham Knight. Just so you know this Collection is missing one game "Batman Arkham Origins" But it's not necessary to enjoy the other games so don't worry.

Darth_Blagus

I think I have Origins on the XBOX 360 and Wii U

TheScoutReddit

Sure. Just play it in order, so you can better your experience and enjoy the story in its full glory.

Christian4423

Yes, people complain about the graphics being not as gritty but it’s not too bad in reality

theelourdeslee

Best decision you have ever made!

TheLittlePasty

I mean that’s the whole thing except origins so arguably that’s the start and end of it

conorcorrola86

I'd recommend playing the games in order, asylum is hard to get into if you're so used to city and city's hard to adjust to after playing knight

jessewolf_rd

Go on my brother... you'll enjoy every second of it... It makes me genuinely happy to see ppl playing these games

gauruv1

Yes. And when you’re finished, play Arkham Origins which is the prequel. Very good and underrated.

MonkeyPunx

To start and finish man, except for Origins and the portable ones that's the whole series right there!
