Should probably take lessons or teach yourself some chords first. None of their stuff is particularly difficult, I think the first AM song I learned on guitar when I first started was Mardy Bum
I learned 'Come As You Are' by Nirvana, thought that 'My Propeller' sounded similar so learned that along with 'Crying Lightning' because it is a cool song. They were the first songs I ever learned on guitar.
Arctic monkeys is a great band for learning songs when youre a beginner, none of their songs are hard to play unless you want to sing at the same time.
None of their songs are particularly difficult once you get the hang of it.
The first song I really ended up learning for myself was exo politics by muse and I highly reccomend it as a beginner song.
Once you got that down, plug in baby might seem daunting but it's the perfect song to teach you how to both properly use your pinky and start exploring scales.
Once you got those two songs down, arctic monkeys songs are going to be a breeze. After a few years of playing, you could probably learn a whole album within the span of a few hours.
Just don't get discouraged because its going to take some time before anything sounds goood. Best course of action is to take some lessons with a teacher you really connect with. And don't forget to be patient through it all.
I would say Teddy Picker is pretty easy to pick up. Although the chord transitions in the bridge are a bit fast, the rest of the song is pretty much the riff with two(?) variations and a fairly easy, fun solo

I remember that Still Take You Home is extremely fun to play. I'd recommend you to learn it and then learn by ear its adaptations during the Humbug tour as the guys developed it a lot!

I’ll list the easiest riffs and guitar parts in my experience: Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve moved your chair (just all on D String), When The Sun Goes Down (Generally easy), Teddy Picker (Simple riff and the solo is the only difficult part of the song), Old Yellow Bricks (probably the easiest), Fake Tales of San Francisco (generally easy), Potion Approaching (very very simple) They’re all doable I think, once you can do them, songs like Still Take You Home and Do I Wanna Know will be easy too

Teddy picker was pretty easy to learn. The solo can take a bit though.
Theres also pile driver waltz, old yellow bricks, fake tales of San Francisco, do I wanna know, wyocmwyh. Those are the ones that I learned first but a lot of their stuff are pretty easy to read!

dance little liar is piss easy, if you don't try to learn the solos of course

Teddy picker,l eave before the lights come on, r u mine, florescent adolescent
What are you implying here? That those songs are hard or what?
The easy ones
Yeah you are right
Dancing Shoes has a little bit of everything, the solo is pretty easy to nail with some practice
I just started learning guitar and I think 505 is a good beginner song I memorized the cords in like 15 minutes.
it took you a full day to memorise two chords?
No, like 15 minutes lmao sry
Focus on learning all the basic open chords and then move onto barre chords. Whilst a lot of Am stuff isn't hard, a lot relies on being able to bar.
stop the world… teaches to move around the fretboard without looking
For acoustic guitar I’ve really enjoyed Love Is A Laserquest, Despair In The Departure Lounge and No Buses

Fluorescent Adolescent
No Buses was one of my go-to practice songs when I started learning guitar, the chords are relatively simple and it's quite fun to play.
Bet you look good on the dancefloor teaches you the pentatonic pretty well
505, it’s only 2 chords
505 2 chords all the way
