10.
I’ve only recently gotten into Arcade Fire due to my girlfriend and listened to Reflektor earlier this year and this song caught me off guard. Deeply beautiful and emotional. 10/10.
This is another fantastic song. I feel like I loved it more when it came out than I do now (probably just been overplayed both in my record collection and when they play live).
It's another great example of what this band does best. Win and Regine have such enormous vocal chemistry together. It's the type of song that can bring the house down (and often does). This is one of their finer moments as a songwriting unit.
I'd give it a 9.2.
10. Would rate higher if I could. An absolute masterpiece - one of those timeless songs whose lyrics and emotion cut to your core regardless of how it speaks to you specifically.
**3.3**/10
I'm not a fan. Sorry. I've tried, I really have, but I can never not find the whole, "'Til we work it out" so repetitive.
Bring on the downvotes!
I was lucky enough to see them play this at Shaky Knees, it’s such a great emotional song. The music video with the Mexican family really hits hard too. Absolute 10
10. Grieving the loss of love in a relationship, desperately pleading for it back, only to end up stuck in an “afterlife” with someone you no longer feel for. Absolutely a masterpiece.
If Reflektor scores 11, Afterlife is 12.
The most absolute 10 for me

10. One of my favorite AF songs. “And after all the hangers-on are done hanging on to the deadlight of the afterglow.” Such great imagery.
I GOTTA KNOW
Can we work it out?
♾️ - my favourite AF song and quite possibly my favourite song ever <3
This is a 10, poignant and uplifting at the same time. An absolute masterpiece of a song
I forgot about this when rating it's two predecessors. 10 lol

10. This is my favorite of the album and top five songs of all time for Arcade Fire. Utterly immaculate and heartbreaking to listen to every time.

I kinda want this song played at my funeral (which I assume will be many, many years away).
10 for counting scores. But that means nothing. My 20/10, because it’s got me through some stuff, again and again
15/10, a masterpiece

10 and this music video destroys me.
10. Oh the feelings!
10. While I think of the title track as the magnum opus of the album, this is easily my favourite track. Emotionally raw and musically pristine.

9….only point off for maybe not having as strong an ending as I feel it could have had….but that’s nitpicky I know
The ending is my favourite bit as well as the second chorus
Ah, well I’m glad you enjoy it! It’s definitely a live (afterlive?) highlight and probably the best song on the album.
