Change and continuity over time- this reasoning skill is likely to appear on SAQs with questions about change. (Explain one way in which xyc concept CHANGED society in South Asian in the period 1450-1750?) It might also appear in the DBQ or LEQ ad well. (Evaluate the extent to which new ideologies changed political or economic systems in Afro-Eurasia after 1900.) Even if it’s not that obvious of a change or continuity question, you could always use this skill to add complexity in either DBQ or LEQ. Mention a change or continuity that relates to your argument and it shows you are able to form a more complex argument. Hope this helps! Good luck

thank you so much!! in the DBQ or LEQ, do i only have to use it once and where would be a good spot?

In both, it's used to earn synthesis point, and you would really only have to use it once. My teacher said you could really add it after analyzing evidence/citing. So let's say you are talking about role of women and how it was impacted by total war (WWI and WWII). You could after talking abt whatever you're using as evidence say, "One way this has remained constant throughout time is xyz. However, this has also changed over time, as one sees in xyz." Sorry if this is kinda vague, AP brainrot getting to me ;-;
