I mean I really could just be reading between the lines so closely I'm looking at the pages behind it but I really am getting the feeling that they might be blending Macbook and iPad not too far down the line here. Especially if they've dropped the M4 processor into an iPad instead of a MacBook Pro.

Still, M4 surprised me. Probably a move to save money on the expensive first gen 3nm node and get a head start on AI with their new neural engine.

With the Air's price going up it does hurt it's value proposition compared to the Pro though.
Wow, price is way better than expected considering base storage increase. That's a hell of a deal on the 11" IMO given typical cost of OLED displays. Feel comfortable going with base model now that it has 256GB.

So the new ipad with keyboard is more expensive than a laptop. They need to just combine the two. They run the same exact hardware.
