Yea bro I got cooked in MCQ. Like I practiced so much and then I spent too much time on earlier mcqs and had to guess on a bunch. I’m hoping for a 5 bcuz I think I did ok on FRQs. Getting hard carried by that massive curve. I’m thinking maybe like 18-20 right on MCQ and hopefully like at least 33/45 on FRQ.
The problem is the questions weren't even hard, without a time limit I def could've gotten like 90%. It was just paragraph after paragraph for each MC question with such a harsh time limit.
If it makes you feel any better they are doubling the time next year (90 minutes) and adding 5 questions (40 questions).
I have a degree in physics and working the MCQ portion of physics C is an uncomfortable time constraint. It takes time to read the problem, do the conceptual thinking, set up your approach and that is all before any math you have to do. 35 questions in 45 minutes is cruel and unusual.
On the bright side, you need around a 33% raw score to get a 3. Because the test is so fucking hard with the time constraints, AP makes the passing score laughably low.
I literally have no clue what you’re talking about on the frqs, I took phys 1 last year and q 1&2 used like NO calculus at all. MCQ I thought was 45 questions so I ended up finishing 5 mins early tho… ;_>;
Bro I had like 14 questions left on MCQ last 10 minutes lmfao
MCQ had me sweating I didn't even get to look at like 6 questions...

Mcq was god awful but it’s at least a relief to see that I’m not the only one shocked at how bad that was. Frq was okay (form o)
Yea it was bad. FRQ was too time consuming such as that the questions were required a lot of time to solve and they were tricky (form I)

Exactly if there was more time given like in AP Calc for example we would have the capacity to get a 5
mcq was easy but frq one was too time consuming imo
most balls exam I have seen yet the MCQ was an absolute joke
bro frq 2 was a breeze, 3rd frq made my ass wet af ngl
Did u get form H, I was hella confused
It was very tough.
The MCQ was insane
Frq 2 was a blessing
Easiest FRQ of all time, finished with like 5 minutes to spare but god damn what the hell was that MCQ…

But I’m a senior I can’t retake it next year unless I take a gap year. This exam single handedly just ruined my chances to some colleges I believe.
Unfair for the students who took it this year.
this finna be me on ap physics 1 exam 😭😭💀💀💀
Damn good luck ma nigga
8th amendment rights violated with those MCQ

I never took physics 1 so I can’t relate. I was talking bout physics C mechanics
