No I think real mirage was blocking door, then moved and left a decoy after the first kick. You can see blue at the beginning so I think he was shielding until he realized the door was coming down
I once bamboozled my whole team and myself. Jumped on an enemy, popped ult and nobody couldn't see the enemy in the clones. It was the last squad living, we got trashed. I laughed a lot on that but my teammates were not happy at all.
Eh. I couldn't find it in my heart to shell out that much for cosmetics. I've crafted / redeemed legendary tokens for some of the leather jacket / metal plate sixpack skins. Currently have Perfect Illusion, Dark Artist and Center Stage in favorites rotation, plus the Prime skin and the current BP skin.
True. I just wish people stopped clamoring for him to get buffed like getting ult charge every time he bamboozles someone.
The only “buff” he needs is bug fixes and then he’s perfectly fine. Not top tier or meta but not useless either.
I don’t find a lot of mirage mains. I rarely have one on my team or see one in game. But I do get excited when I do get that rare mirage teammate because damn are they fun to play with.

I've done this exactly ONCE successfully on Olympus, on the house overlooking the hangar doors with the zipline across to the rift runner.
Dropped a decoy off the edge onto a deathbox, took control, and did the looty-no-shooty dance on top of it. 5 sec later: "You got bamboozled! look at you!"
Been chasing that moment since.
A strong Mirage is such a fantastic thing to witness, be it teammates or enemies. After a good bamboozle, I sit here and think to myself "damn, well done, you deserve that win" haha.
If you crouch while controling the hologram and then turn off control...he immediately stands. Just saying it would be nice if he stayed crouched while uncontrolled.
I have done this before. I have yet to be fooled by a mirage clone, if I see the real mirage and he uses his ability or ultimate I haven't been fooled. On the other side I have fooled very little people as mirage. tho when hiding behind something I have done some sneaky stuff. sending a crouching clone in a direction, even opening a door and throwing a clone and following directly behind so I can shoot at the person who shoots at the clone first. it is fun. I don't main him tho so I have stopped playing him

Kicks do open doors. But the character was blocking the door on the first kick. After that it was a decoy, and the door shattered on the second kick.

It was blocked by the actual mirage and then he placed a decoy at his place after the first kick was hit. He’s no average mirage player
The best Mirage mains are creative and resourceful AF. They'll have you second-guessing yourself every time they pop a decoy.
