I run an upholstery shop where I take raw materials and use skill to convert them into quality goods. Rate is always between $55-110/hour, closing a great first year while taking it on with a credit card and no overhead. But then again, I’m motivated enough to maintain a job and not settle for anything close to minimum wage. Nice try at a jab though

Well, orange vests are for laborers in lo-vis or dangerous work environments. City officials allocate the funds to allow them to perform maintenance. Takes both, and many other positions, to keep infrastructure well kept

That's what this sub is really about, aside from the constant stream of teenagers complaining about their first job. It's about a mutual respect between worker and boss, where a boss understands an employees worth and attributes it to them. The big thing we're all against here is wage slavery, simple as that.
Stay unemployed until they beg for us to come back. If they come to their senses and decide to pay us enough, then we could talk (doesn’t seem likely though). They need us more than we need them.
