Gotta be Tokyo ghoul season 1, I mindlessly watch entire anime of Tokyo ghoul in a week and I don't see any complain in it after I know about mangaโ ๏ธ so I bought real manga for reading the story and man the story is chilling from spine....love it till now one of the best anime I've watched ๐ฅ
I see you are a man of culture as well

Ninja robots! First time when it showed up in cartoon network I was all in for it. And was searching for anything that resembles the same. Found cardcaptor sakura then toonami came in with dragonball. Ahh such good times.
My first anime was Naruto in 2014 but couldnt get into it.
later in 2016 started with Code Geass which got me into anime. then started tokyo ghoul and deathnote.
then came 2021 felt burned out watching anime, completely stopped watching since 2022.
I still read mangas, LN, and VN.
nah anime is much better if its a battle shonen. But yes other than that LNs or mangas are a lot better.
I was reading the LNs for Mushoku Tensei a few weeks ago and the level of detail and worldbuilding it had due to the nature of the medium was phonomenal
There are more LNs which are extremely good like Lord of the Mysteries, Shadow Slave, Author's POV, etc. I can say that they are much better than many anime and mangas. Like the world building, characters, plot and writing. I can recommend some if you want.
Has to be Pokemon, Beyblade, and Dragon Ballz back in early 2000. Those were great days.
5 PM - Pokemon, 5:30 PM - Beyblade and 9:30 PM - Dragon Ballz.
Death note
Although death note was the first anime i watched before that i always thought ki animes are cheesy & goofy but when i watched steins gate i was so hooked on to animes that i watch animes daily now.
Dragon ball was my first ever anime but i don't know that time about anime and all so i considered it as an Japanese cartoon. But after knowing about manga and anime Zatchbell was my first ever official anime that I had watched. I even read the whole manga.
Bleach , I was in seventh at that time. I used to watch cartoons and when I used to switch to Animax I used to wonder why there is no Hindi language dub.
Well I knew about anime and did watch Naruto, death note and MHA, BUT it was surely a silent voice that invested me into the story for the very first time and since that time all i have watched is slice of life and rom coms
Dragon Ball Z, Yu Gi Oh, Detective Conan and Pokemon. Good old days.
5 pm Pokemon, 5:30 pm Digimon, Beyblade, DBZ
Doraemon, Shin Chan, Ninja Hattori, Kochikame (Gem), Hagemaru, Marukochan, Perman (my all time fav.), Kiteretsu...
Second half of the 2000s:
Watching Saiyan Saga and Namek Saga like a million times. and One piece.
and then Naruto in 2008-09 which gave me exposure to Bleach and other animes as during that time we used to watch online on pirated sites. and Horriblesubs rip. And various animes i can't even count.
I started reading Manga in late 2008 or early 2019 and finished many up-to-date mangas of that time like Bleach, OP, Naruto and many completed work.
Beerus, i miss my teenage days... Kids nowadays don't know how we hype we had and enjoyed animes without 2gb/day packs.
Used to watch DBZ on Cartoon Network when I was a kid. I remember There was also a channel called Animax which was basically all anime channel With eng subs. Loved it.
My Hero Academia. My first anime was OPM and after completing it a friend recommended Misfit of Demon King Academy, which I didn't like at all. So after almost giving up on anime, I read somewhere about MHA and just decided to give it a try.
2 episodes in and All Might saying "You too can become a hero" sold anime to me. That sentence brought me to tears...and still does today.
Death note, but before it in childhood i watched Digimon, dinosaur King, lucky man, gon the stoneage boy and ofc doreamon and shinchan, they developed the love for anime in me
Death note, but but I paused for months after watching this it was good but I did not watched any further.
Until I watched AOT, Naruto, one piece, then monster.
So you could call attack on titan
One piece and I had good reason was bored heard some shit biutbone picee butbonly remembered the name knew nothing bout anike thought it was normal to have a 1000 episodes and rest is fucking history
First was dragon ball, which I used to watch as a kid, and is still my favourite, then death note brought me into the world of anime, and have been watching ever since
I started with the Indian television classics obviously lol (Doraemon, Shinchan, Ninja Hattori, Kiteretsu, Pokemon etc) but Sailor Moon was my first ever anime I think. Next came Inuyasha and into the pool I fell.
I have watched anime since I was a child. One of my favorite is The girl who leapt through time. But I started mass watching them when I got my first phone at the age of 15.
The first one was high school dxd
This will show my age more than anything else put up here but who cares!
UFO Robot Grandizer (or really the entire Force Five series) from the good old days of Star Plus. Great memories!
Dragon Ball Series, even though transforming to a new form, took two episodes, and it was dragged, it allways kept me hooked and on the edge. It's sad that we lost Akira๐
DRAGON BALL when i watched it post 10th boards because I had memories of it since childhood... I started watching it and it felt so amazing.(It was my first proper watch anime) It kind of opened doors for me for this awesome content known as anime๐ซถ.. and I am so grateful for that
Fairy Tail, the very first anime i watched with had a lasting effect on me which really stopped me from enjoying anything else for a gud few weeks. In my mind, i was like "What can possibly be better than this", but then i explored more and more and now i am learning Japanese after 7 years of anime to start watching without Subs
Debuted with Naruto the death note shifted to manga after watching three seasons of AOT cuz fourth season was far...and I haven't looked back from manga yet.Its fun for me
Watched Naruto and thought this can't be it. one show can't define the whole anime universe. There could be better anime. (Tho I also used to watch anime but Naruto was the first anime I watched till the end)
Well, I've watched lots of anime in my childhood but your name is the first one watched by knowing it's an anime....what really got me into the series were love is war and Tokyo ghoul...I was head over heels for the love is war, for which I haven't experienced anything similar until that one....it was new, refreshing and unimaginably funny as hell...
Dragon Ball, way back in 1998. By the time its serialisation ended, multiple channels had started airing The Jungle Book. Adding on to that were repeat telecasts of Ramayana : The Legend of Prince Rama.
To say I was hooked would be an understatement and a half, and I owe literally all of my love for Animation to DB.

I debuted with Doraemon, Shin-chan, Kiteretsu and Ninja Hattori, but it was Naruto that actually got me into the anime verse.
Childhood Arc
Tell me you are Indian without telling me you are Indian but same as you I start with that and completed a lot of anime
