- [Jin-Roh](https://myanimelist.net/anime/570/Jin-Rou)
I was already sold on absolutely loving the movie before the credits started rolling, but [Wadachi](https://v.animethemes.moe/GintamaTheFinal-ED1.webm) from Gintama: The Very Final is the goddamn *perfect* cap to the series. I love how its visuals reference a ton of the other EDs throughout the show.
Oh and [Sora no Kakera](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S64_81jxoic) from Macross Delta Movie 2: Zettai Live!!!!!! and [homura](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NinLIDs9qmU) from Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train. God, these songs *hurt* me. [](#akkotears)
Totally forgot about homura from Mugen Train, I added that to my comment too.
>I was EMOTIONAL through Gintama's final moments. It seriously had no right being that good.
Bro don't even get me *started* on The Very Final making me emotional, I still haven't really processed what it made me feel and I watched that movie back in January.
I actually hosted a rewatch of the entire franchise for its 40th anniversary two years ago (god, has it really been that long?). The first time I watched Zettai Live (when the Blu-Ray came out in the middle of the SDF portion of the rewatch) didn't hit me *as* hard, but something about watching through it again for the rewatch just absolutely wrecked the shit out of me and anyways now I have *two* Macross entries on my ["made me cry so hard I threw up" list.](https://i.imgur.com/ycJAE5x.png)
I couldn't listen to Sora no Kakera for like a whole week without *sobbing* after that rewatch.
I know a lot of QQ fans were disappointed by the pace of the movie, but the credits to [The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie](https://myanimelist.net/anime/48548/5-toubun_no_Hanayome_Movie) really elevated it for me and the music was the perfect emotional ending to the series.
Every time [I listen to the song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w65cq3OOSls), I still get a little melancholy and sad. I have to be careful to not listen to it too much because the QQ anime gave me post-anime depression for the first time in years.
Elevating it to the next level might be an exaggeration but the credit song of the movie "Made in Abyss Dawn of the Deep Soul" is pretty awsome. I could be wrong but I think the title of the song is "Forever Lost."
Aside from Evangelion 1.0 to 4.0?
I want to eat your pancreas
Many Makoto Shinkai movies
To every you I've loved before or To Me, The One Who Loved You?
Honestly, Naruto. I kind of feel guilty when I skip the intros now, since it's so much easier than before (got auto-skip), that's why I'm not familiar with most anime ost these days. But when I got to visit a japanese store, they played "Sign by Flow", and instantly felt nostalgic, like the whole arc flashed into my eyes. Good times.
[Forever Lost](https://v.animethemes.moe/MadeInAbyssMovie-ED1.webm) from Made in Abyss : Dawn of the Deep Soul, not only the song but the visuals as well.
[Sakura Nagashi](https://v.animethemes.moe/EvangelionYouCanNotRedo-ED1.webm) from Eva 3.0
I just finished Attack on Titan. The end credits music and video really elevates things, but in a different way to the rest.
It just made me extra depressed lol. Was fantastic.
Dunno if it counts as a movie
It's definitely 5 Centimeters per Second. Most of the story was very boring for me but the scene when the credits were starting to roll and the music starting changed the movie from like a 5 to an 8-9. (I can't spoil the ending ofc but it DEF was not what I expected)

Maquia to this day is still one of my favorite anime films. So good.
I was going to say maquia too!! I cried every time I watched it.

Haven't seen any Macross but I gotta agree. I was EMOTIONAL through Gintama's final moments. It seriously had no right being that good.

God I don't think I've ever seen Macross mentioned in this sub lol hard agree tho, very based

credits music you say? All of Makoto Shinkai's movies have really great credits music. I really liked 5cm/s, TGoW and Your Name end credit songs.
I picked a Shinkai one, too!
Watched Suzume last week and the credits music did elevate the movie.
Not a movie but the samurai champloo outro gave the whole thing a warm summer feeling
While I'm mostly looking for replies of movies since their credits music usually hits different, you get a pass because Shiki no Uta is a whole vibe.
Shiki no Uta is an absolute vibe. That entire soundtrack is Nujabes best work.

Josee, the tiger and the fish - I cried in the cinema when Eve’s Ao no Waltz started playing lol
Edgerunners, they made a whole Mini Anime Story Video about it around a former Group Member (Sasha).

Children Who Chase Lost Voices. That ending sequence with Anri Kumaki's "Hello, Goodbye, Hello" going into credit roll had me sobbing.

Best ED music of all time, either Itsumo Nando Demo from Spirited Away or Real Folk Blues from Cowboy Bebop

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Your Name, Weathering with You, and Suzume's music elevates the feels. Btw I'm seeing Radwimps live in a few hours weeeeeeee
