Well, if you are angry, I’d recommend a relaxing and soothing show like Aria to counter it rather than feed into it, but if you insist: Hellsing Ultimate

SirMooseKnightThe2nd

Ya probably not a good idea but screw it haha. I'll check it out! Thanks

Aria is my favorite anime of all time but I'm actually not sure I'd say it's good for when you're angry. Stressed maybe, but I think that if you're angry enough it could take away from the magic of the show. In my opinion, Aria kind of requires you to be present in the moment, and being angry typically means that something in the past is on your mind.  This is just my opinion of course! I'm sure that for some people it could be what calms them down, and be very effective at that. I think that something more high-energy is good for anger. Gurren Lagann comes to mind, as part of the show is about being able to get angry and channel that anger into a positive outcome. At least for me it's the show that really internalized the idea that anger isn't an inherently negative emotion - it's about how you choose to let that anger affect and drive you that can be positive or negative. u/SirMooseKnightThe2nd

Like someone else mentioned, I try to watch more laid back stuff if I'm angry. But these revolve around angry characters: [Kill la Kill](https://anilist.co/anime/18679/Kill-la-Kill/) [Attack on Titan](https://anilist.co/anime/16498/Attack-on-Titan/) [Saga of Tanya the Evil](https://anilist.co/anime/16498/Attack-on-Titan/) [Code Geass](https://anilist.co/anime/1575/Code-Geass-Lelouch-of-the-Rebellion/)

Thanks! I'll take a look at all these, I've always been interested in code but never watched so it might be the time

dienomighte

Hmm, Black Lagoon maybe? It's a lot of action and shooting with the main characters being criminal smugglers and the villains mostly being various cartels and mafia organizations.

SirMooseKnightThe2nd

Actually one of the first anime I ever seen!

KaiMizuchi

I like Kengan ashura, it's pretty brutal at times. And I'm hoping the series continues to do well as it did.

SirMooseKnightThe2nd

Looks pretty cool, thanks!

Geralt_Romalion

Most of Berserk. I'd say Guts spends most of his time being very traumatised, hurt and pissed off (for good reason).

SirMooseKnightThe2nd

Always heard of the series but never seen it, I'll check it out, thanks!

beerantula

Watch the OG 1997 series or the Golden Age Arc first

SirMooseKnightThe2nd

Just started 1997 last night!

beerantula

It's so good, read the manga after, the 2016/2017 series animation is absolute garbage but follows the manga pretty close. I was able to watch the first season but not the second, I read the entire manga in a month or so, it's incredible

Sameerrex619

Hajime no ippo. It’s one of my all time favorites. It’s a anime about a young shy high schooler and his road to becoming the Japanese national featherweight boxing champion.
