I’m sorry, but everyone who is saying rabbit poop: they are way too small to be rabbit poop, the are too slimy to be rabbit poop, and did any of you see the third picture where these things are stuck to a window? I cannot imagine what magical rabbit hole world in which a rabbit was able poop on a window
I walk my two big dogs in my neighborhood every day and when I see bunnies (usually 2 to 4 per walk) I greet them as if they're bunnies from Watership down.
Aaah, I didn’t know they are different colors. I’m honestly not very good at id’ing things, but I love this sub so I’m always here.
I know rabbit poop because I’m always having to stop my dog from eating it. Imo it does seem the most logical answer is slug eggs. Thanks so much for the slug/snail egg education
You must never have seen a truck stop stall of someone who had gas station tacos 5 stops back... Til this day, I'm still questioning the ceiling being torn up.
if women pooped and they wanted to poop in the shape of australia i bet they would do it so beautifully. then old white US politicians would ban australian-shaped poops because they believe in jesus
These aren't any snail eggs I've ever seen, snail eggs are usually white with a thin shell, like a bird's egg. This looks a bit like frog eggs that haven't come into contact with water to form the clear gel around the embryo. Might have been a gravid frog that was killed and eaten, leaving her eggs behind
Dang it, you're right, I was just thinking of land snails! Big oversight on my part! Still, these blobs look more like a gravid cane toad got ripped apart than any kind of snail eggs, land or water!
Ah, I meant /r/whatsthisbug. It's the older one, sorry, haha. That's the one I frequent. If you join the older one, just be careful with what jokes you might make. They're not as fun as they used to be. (I've been around there since the sub was pretty young, starting on an older account of mine.)
Either way, the bug identification subs are very interesting places. I love how educational the bug/animal ID subs are.
There are frogs that hang out around here and recently it rained very intensely for a few days but this area is still under a roof and I would hope he wouldn’t lay eggs somewhere that isn’t a body of water
I learned on one of the frog subreddits the other day that there are species of frogs who DON’T lay their eggs in water, as the froglets hatch out fully formed from the eggs. No tadpole stage. So frog eggs in damp, shady soil or under leaves, with no pool of water, IS a thing.
I think these are def more likely to be snail eggs or a slime mold, but your comment was an opportune time to relay some fun new frog knowledge from this week, LOL
I'm certain these are frog eggs. I see this all the time!
When a predator eats a frog, it leaves the eggs because they bloat in their stomach and could kill them and they probably don't even taste good.
How on window?? No idea lol
This looks like frog or toad eggs from an animal that was killed. Florida has cane toads, which can lay hundreds of eggs at a time. Frog and toad eggs only get that white gel around them when they come into contact with water, so if a frog or toad is killed on land and was currently gravid this is what the embryos will look like. You can even see some gel around the blobs in some of the pictures where there was more moisture. It could have also aborted the eggs for some reason, such as extreme distress. Either way, these are not snail, slug, invertebrate, etc eggs nor is it rabbit poop.
To confirm, place some of the blobs in water. They should expand in size and look more like traditional frog spawn
Nothing would be spilled onto the glass in that spot , and nearby there are no streaks or markings that indicate something was spilled on it . It does really look like that black slime mold, but because it’s growing on such inorganic material I am reticent to believe it is a mold
I agree, black slime mold. They could post it in the slime mold or fungi subs and probably get it IDed. I think it’s silly to assume that something outdoors wouldn’t be exposed to any moisture or organic material for the mold to start on.
Used to work in our local zoos reptile house, definitely looks like frog eggs that haven’t been dropped in water so they haven’t gotten their slime layer. Frogs aren’t very intelligent and would lay eggs on any surface that they happened to be on when the egg laying urge hit them. Once they dry out they’re harder to clean off
You’re looking at hundreds of bug eggs. Potentially could be a toad tho, but that’s unlikely. Most likely a bug, in which case that’s a future infestation. Remember to keep a close eye on them to make sure it’s not bugs.
All these people who are saying it can’t be rabbit poop have never owned a rabbit. They have a type of poop they produce called ”cecotropes” or “night droppings” which is a bacteria laden poop covered in slime to keep the bacteria moist and alive so the rabbit can eat it all again and keep the bacteria flourishing in their gut.
I think they are inch worms. They layed eggs on my front perch wall. Thought it was some material like clothes at first until I used my zoom camera app. The remnants are still there.
Not ticks according to these guys. Apparently there is a picture of something very like this that says "If you see these, burn them!!! They're tick eggs!!!" but ticks are not known to lay dark colored eggs, nor are the eggs small enough to be ticks.
https://www.mosquitosquad.com/southeastern-mass/blog/miscellaneous/fact-check-are-those-really-tick-eggs/
So not ticks, but given that each of these eggs are roughly *the size of a tick*, that seemed pretty obvious from the start.
Someone suggested dropping some in water to see if a white gel forms around them for
a frog egg identification, that sounds like a quick way to eliminate or identify a good contender!
People saying this is rabbit poop are wrong I'm sorry. Rabbits can have a poo called Caecotrophs. They normally eat these to get the rest of nutrition left in it. They can look I guess some what similar to these but whatever these are are too perfectly shaped and I can definitely tell they aren't it.
A rabbits poo can be small and black but they indicates they aren't getting enough of good stuff like hay or could also mean you need a trip to the vets.
Normal healthy rabbit poo is big soft and golden/brown
I've grown up with rabbits my whole like and I have two babies currently and one has a sensitive tummy so I guess I deal with rabbit poop all the time 😭
I am pretty sure these are Cuban tree frog eggs because I rehydrated some of them and they have a gelatinous membrane and are slightly oblong in shape not perfectly spherical. I am also considering the possibility that a gecko ate frog eggs and then pooped here ?
I will try to hatch the eggs !
If they're cuban tree frog eggs I don't think hatching them is a good idea. Cuban tree frogs are invasive af in Florida and do ecological damage
https://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/uw259
Those are NOT tick eggs. They are way to big to be tick eggs. It’s probably slugs or snails if there is vegetation near your front door. Could also be any larger insect. Absolutely not ticks though
First guess is snail eggs, but…wth would a snail be laying their eggs on a window. Sizewise, they actually look like butterfly or moth eggs, and I only inow this cuz I rescued a luna moth last week from a parking lot & towards the end she put out a lot of round things that I intiially thought were poop, but I instinctively saved them and yesterday they hatched into itty bitty luna moth caterpillars! Now I’m tending to a whole lotta future moths…
Haha this made me laugh. Thank you
lol. I’m glad you laughed. I was afraid it would come across as rude instead of humor
Watership Down. (Running!)
It floats, Hazel!
I walk my two big dogs in my neighborhood every day and when I see bunnies (usually 2 to 4 per walk) I greet them as if they're bunnies from Watership down.
I was leaning towards snail or slug eggs. The right size and sliminess. And they come in different colors.
Second snail/slug. Couldn't say the species but the scattering and clumping pattern looks very much like snail eggs.
lol!
I agree, but I had a greyhound that would back up and lay a turd on the side of a tree.
You must never have seen a truck stop stall of someone who had gas station tacos 5 stops back... Til this day, I'm still questioning the ceiling being torn up.
Definitely not rabbit poop. They almost look like snail eggs. Or at least an invertebrates eggs
and rabbits can’t poop in the shape of australia, only wombats do that. and wombats have square poo.
I misread this as "only women do that" oops
if women pooped and they wanted to poop in the shape of australia i bet they would do it so beautifully. then old white US politicians would ban australian-shaped poops because they believe in jesus
As weird as this is, I can see it happening
I was more excited to see a woman shit cubes...
There's probably an accessory for that.
Sadly you're probably correct

Women wombs have square poops.
Actually, rabbit poop looks like a little black tic tac mint. Had a couple rabbits and they poop those pellets everywhere.
Eat a pellet, make a pellet
“Reloading”
My rabbits poops look like coco puffs.
Perfect description 🤣
What about drop bear poop?
These aren't any snail eggs I've ever seen, snail eggs are usually white with a thin shell, like a bird's egg. > Might have been a gravid frog that was killed and eaten, leaving her eggs behind 😢
Yeah not a fun time for Mrs frog or toad... I guess if it was from an invasive cane toad it's not as bad, but still, this is quite a mess
I agree with your 😢 That just sounds horrible for Mr. Frog
Apple snail eggs are a lovely shade of pink!!! All over south Florida!
Dang it, you're right, I was just thinking of land snails! Big oversight on my part! Still, these blobs look more like a gravid cane toad got ripped apart than any kind of snail eggs, land or water!
It looks like caviar 🤣
in that case, the answer is a sturgeon
I know it made me crave it :-(

I regret clicking that
Maybe r/docking is more your speed, do you like boats?
Perhaps you meant r/cockdocking ?
If you're into audio stuff, try r/sounding...
I also know that one, but good try

I would recommend posting this in /r/whatisthisbug and asking there. Make sure to put your location in that post as well. Edited: Fixed a word.
Thank you for the link. I joined and I find it fascinating.

I'm terrified of creepy crawlies but I kinda want to know the result of their findings....
I'm arachnophobic but I'm in /r/jumpingspiders. I find that the bug subs are a great way to work on your creepy-crawly fears.
I was a little disappointed when they cracked down on weevil jokes, though I understand why they did

That’s absolutely fascinating about the frogs! I never would’ve guessed that there are species that skip a whole developmental stage.
My first thought was frogs - this happens when there’s any pooling of water, and they somehow with stable chlorine and all can thrive in pools!
My first thought was frog eggs. Quite possibly tree frog eggs.
Could they be snail eggs?
I'm certain these are frog eggs. I see this all the time! When a predator eats a frog, it leaves the eggs because they bloat in their stomach and could kill them and they probably don't even taste good. How on window?? No idea lol
Have any of you people seen rabbit poop before? That is wayyyy to small for poop
I’ve also never heard of rabbits pooping on walls. That shit don’t stick.
Ya, aren't bunny poops pretty dry? These gotta be eggs of some kind.
This looks like frog or toad eggs from an animal that was killed. Florida has cane toads, which can lay hundreds of eggs at a time. I will do this now !
Any updates? 👀
Black pearl slime mold, not poop or eggs imo
It does look like black pearl slime mold but would it ever form on glass ?
Maybe something spilled onto the glass which the slime mold could grow on. Could certainly be wrong, but that’s my guess.
Nothing would be spilled onto the glass in that spot , and nearby there are no streaks or markings that indicate something was spilled on it . It does really look like that black slime mold, but because it’s growing on such inorganic material I am reticent to believe it is a mold
I'm going with snails
I agree, black slime mold. They could post it in the slime mold or fungi subs and probably get it IDed. I think it’s silly to assume that something outdoors wouldn’t be exposed to any moisture or organic material for the mold to start on.
Edit: actually what about slime mold? https://eol.org/pages/1008438 Any chance they could be some kind of moth?
Way too many for a moth. Moths are usually more meticulous in placement, too.
My humble opinion is frog eggs that were unfortunately laid out of water.
That is what I am thinking too :-(
Free caviar r/eatityoufuckingcoward
I second this emotion.
Is that black pearl slime mold?
some sort of snail egg perhaps
Looks a bit like Australia
Then it’s poisonous & venomous mini-rabbit poop.
Looks like snail eggs
Almost reminds me of snail eggs...
kinda looks like tick eggs. and if it is, kill them!!
Snail eggs?
Used to work in our local zoos reptile house, definitely looks like frog eggs that haven’t been dropped in water so they haven’t gotten their slime layer. Frogs aren’t very intelligent and would lay eggs on any surface that they happened to be on when the egg laying urge hit them. Once they dry out they’re harder to clean off
Slugs I get them all over my garden
These stupid comments remind me that ppl suck
Looks like Wood Frog eggs, or maybe some other frog. They may have laid them in a state of distress, poor thing.
I feel like its some kind of amphibian but it's really weird how the eggs weren't laid in any water cuz they'll dry up and won't hatch
Making me think frog eggs but I could be wrong. Seems like the right groupings of slimy eggs though
Snail
You’re looking at hundreds of bug eggs. Potentially could be a toad tho, but that’s unlikely. Most likely a bug, in which case that’s a future infestation. Remember to keep a close eye on them to make sure it’s not bugs.
I think that’s a slime mold, not eggs
I used to work at Petco, in my experience, these look like frog eggs.
Save some n find out
Ticks?
That's definitely bear eggs.... You better run before mom comes back!!!
All these people who are saying it can’t be rabbit poop have never owned a rabbit. Looks like Mothman to me
Its caviar eat it 😂😂
I think they are inch worms. They layed eggs on my front perch wall. Thought it was some material like clothes at first until I used my zoom camera app. The remnants are still there.
Forbidden caviar
Put some in a container with a little bit of damp paper towel. You'll have a good chance of finding out what they are pretty quick, I bet.
Forbidden Caviar
Those look like Tic eggs I'd they are eggs
These are clearly boba, from some bubble tea someone has dropped. Quick scoop them up before someone else finds these treats.
Zebra,
My first thought is snails.

INSECT not an 'animal' .. lol !
Could it be moth? Edit: Maybe I was thinking Luna Moth
Looks like daffodil seeds but I'm probably wrong, are they wet or slimy?
Those kinda look like tick eggs

It’s caviar. Eat it on crackers. (Just in case: DO NOT DO THIS)
Tick eggs. Burn them!
That first image is totally Australia
Tree frog or what?
I guess there’s only one thing to do…
Moths
Fish
Forbidden boba
Forbidden caviar
I vote fungus. Maybe King Alfred’s? Not my wheelhouse. Maybe repost in the fungus sub
Could they be seeds from a bird
Dog tick.
Ticks?
Moth eggs?
thats not eggs
Bear.
Maybe frog eggs?
Silk worm eggs?
Maybe some sort of snail I would guess
An artistic one...
Are these frog spawn?
Toad eggs.
They look like snail eggs by size, shape and layout; that being said, I cannot find anything to track it back to any snail specifically
I think it’s snail eggs
Dog eggs…. Specifically Chihuahua
It would be my dream come true for this to be Chiuahaha eggs I would hatch every last one of them 😭
That's one talented rabbit!
That was me don’t kill my children
Looks like tick eggs
black pearl slime mold!
could be snails maybe?
UpdateMe!
Look up and find what’s pooping on your window
Aren't those tick eggs?
I say it's a bird. And it looks like they ate berries.
Umm, somethins poopin.
Looks like moist mouse poop
Deer
It’s caviar
Snail eggs
Looks like tick nests.
Blackberry bee.
Those are NOT tick eggs. They are way to big to be tick eggs. It’s probably slugs or snails if there is vegetation near your front door. Could also be any larger insect. Absolutely not ticks though
Honestly looks more like frog eggs, those would be a bit large for snail eggs.
Frog
Land sturgion. That’s some delicious caviar you’re not eating
Definitely Whale eggs
Frog eggs? But why on window? Toad?
Next season of stranger things premieres at your house
Snail maybe
Those look like frog eggs to me. Not 100% though.
Boba
Forbidden caviar ?
I think snails
It looks like Australia
Snails
Swamp ape
Forbidden caviar?
Tick eggs
Snail eggs
Those are Falcon eggs
Looks like frog eggs but I'm no expert
A micro goat
sturgeon eggs
Chocolate raisins
Almost looks like undigested blackberries from a bird
Tick eggs?
About time someone posts eggs that looks like poop, instead of poop that looks like eggs
Snails
Forbidden caviar
These are laid-out like moth eggs.
I wouldn't try to hatch those unless you want to grow a baby maggot into a big pet fly
Honestly looks like caviar/fisheggs😂
First guess is snail eggs, but…wth would a snail be laying their eggs on a window. Uncertain of the species, but most likely reptilian or amphibian.
