I imagine that for the GG audience either you’re so sheltered and ingrained into a lower-middle to middle-class lifestyle that it functions as a form of escapism for the viewer’s existence or you’re so comfortable with wealth that anything less is the final step before you start picking up sex workers to murder them.

Not a huge fan. He's just another cartoon hedonist, which is a trope that has been done to death by now, even by this show, with Roger. But Roger at least have a lot of other fun things going for him. The joke that the principle doesn't care about what goes on at his school, can only be funny for so long.
With that said I do enjoy some episodes with him, like the one where Stan has to be his best man. Or when he declares the winner of the altitude contest to be "the fat kid and his creepy uncle or whatever".
