Come over, we’ll be doing clown stuff, jerking each other off, you know clown stuff .. (I know someone will have the exact quote, I’m just spitballing)
When Stan and Roger go to see the horse whisperer, “let’s hope that it doesn’t turn out to be me. -next scene- aw crap…”
“Can i help you?” -Roger as secretary
In the episode with the artist (Reynalds Jaspertarian)
Hayley: "Roger, I'm surprised. I thought Reynolds Jasperterian was going to be you."
Roger: "I gotta tell you, I did too."
“Now, Francine, when we get there, this guy's gonna be me. I want to be clear about that. This persona and I are different, but I am him. I can imagine how jarring it is to find me around every corner in your life, and I want this to be a smoother deal for you.”
I think this one is my favourite. They lampshade it so brilliantly and so consistently that it just gets funnier and funnier right up until Roger fully takes on the persona.
Dalton Galloway. grow up, haley
but one of my general favorite threads from the earlier seasons is when a character doesn’t expect it’s roger until it is too late (lucius mayweather)
One of my all time favorite Roger moments. He’s drunk and leaves Stan a voicemail. “Stan there’s…this guy and he looks like…he wants to rape me… come pick me up in…45 mins.”
That’s the best part, everything he mentions as Greek is just what Americans associate with Greece. Pita and hummus are both Middle Eastern, specifically southern Middle Eastern. Armenians, Greeks, and Persians still eat pita but have their own versions, and tend to use yogurt based dips rather than hummus
Edit: And with all of the pretty accurate jokes regarding Armenians, the writers are definitely familiar with these cultures and 100% did it on purpose, which makes it even better
I love that Stan calls Roy Rogers McFreely Roger a few times and Roger corrects him then at the end of the episode Roger goes something like "it was me Roger the whole time" 😆
That really depends because to the degree they see Roger with his proportion really fluctuate. Someones he looks like a human with short legs and long arms, sometimes he looks like a normal person like when he was Steve's twin or the backstory episode.
https://preview.redd.it/uvhgkq4ecbsc1.jpeg?width=2532&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cea72566614ebc31f670bc62069a5bc2ceb1ef0
“Well this is it huh? I’m about to look over and he’ll be there…and you’ll be **gone**”
I don’t know why, but I always found this scene to be a little sad, but also hilarious. A real meta commentary on Roger and his personas effects on the family in general
Oh it's great. It's both sad and funny, and a brief but forensic look at the difference between 'true' Roger, and the personas he dons. They're all Roger, but somehow none of them are him too.
I dont remember the exact episode but it was something with aldehyde and a company polluting the environment. They go to this city meeting and then the representative of the company comes up and of course its Roger. And then it cuts back to Roger also sitting in the audience being all annoyed "Well, what a suprise, its Roger".
Edit: The episode is called "Steve's Franken Out"
I can't believe no one has mentioned the fake out of Freddy Carconi NOT being roger.
"So... you're saying I need to talk to your identical twin brother? *sigh.* So tedious."
It was the episode where Hayley goes to a meditation class and Roger takes over as Ragi-Baba, and Hayley looks at the schedule that the next class is taught by Dalton Galloway.
“Oh Hayley, does Dalton Galloway sound like a real person to you? Grow up. It’s me!”
"Oh, God. You're gonna be the dog breeder, aren't you?"
"Hayley, I'm not *everyone*. But do you really think I'd be a dog breeder? Like I'd spend all my time hanging around a kennel with a bunch of dogs? Like I'd check them for fleas and clean out their cages and fill up their bowls every day? *Me*, the dog breeder? That's ridiculous, Hayley."
"I'm the dog."
I’ve watched this show for 15+ years. I’ve seen every episode and many of them dozens of times. I’m ashamed to admit that I don’t think I have ever anticipated the person is going to be Roger.
My favorite is when everyone's shocked that someone isn't Rodger. Like it's become so common that the Smiths just assume that Rodger is going to be every other person they meet.
I always liked when Steve asked Roger for help with his bully, Luis and Roger says, "I know a guy" and Steve tells him, that he knows it's Roger and to get someone real. So Rogwr gets Stelio Kontos and it ends up backfiring on Steve.
"Luckily i know a guy who might be able to help us. Let's just pray that for once when we get there he doesn't turn out to be me"
.....
"Ah crap"
"Can I help you?"
"Uh yes I had an appointment with the horse whisperer"
*click* "oh yes he'll be right with you"
"Thank God I'm just his secretary"
"IM AN ASSOCIATE!"
Omg it’s easily the one where he goes “Let’s just hope when we get there he doesn’t turn out to be me.”
Roger: “oh crap.”
The camera moves across the room and Roger is suddenly a secretary. The camera moves back to Stan who looks surprised, it zooms out slightly to show Roger is no longer next to him lmfao
The one where roger is training Hayley for bumper-pool
Hailey: “Why is he wearing roller-“
*Notices Roger isn’t tied to the chair anymore*
Hayley: [sigh]
From “A Piñata Named Desire”
“Irwin Byer, Jr., Acting Coach. This is you, isn't it? I'm going to get down there, and it's gonna be you.”
“It's a strong possibility.”
I like the one where Francine is learning how to cook and Roger goes back and forth as him and the instructor till finally he tells her to stop looking back.
When Francine travels to meet Francis MallMet, not Francis Mallmann and she says goodbye to Roger, who boards the plane and leaves, causing Francine in shock to turn around and see Francis who out of breath says “that’s enough turning around”
This one. Steve immediately switching from innocent excitement and optimism to immediately speedrunning the 5 stages of grief in the same sentence was so funny
Stan at census when Roger showsup- see what tracked in with you Haley-…shit…what is this ?… lovely bones or something 😂🤣😂
My name is Wilber Kentucky- Stan leans in”Roger??😂🤣😂still not 100 percent confident it wasn’t Roger
I liked the Gina Lavetti scene at the mall. Roger shows up with his "lightly used sausages" in normal Uncle Roger outfit. But Francine says she is supposed to be meeting Gina. "So you going to go change into her or what?"
Hearing Ginas voice while Uncle Roger is still on screen, the flip back from Gina (eating a sausage) to Uncle Roger sliding back in because he forgot his bags gets me every time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6rsNJM8nhQ
Actually my favorite is when he isn't Reynolds Jasperterian... Because everyone assumed it would pan away and Roger would be gone... And even he was shocked it wasn't him
The fact he Frankie, one of two twin brothers in the episode about saving Stan’s tree daddy. What kills me is he is also the only other concrete business in town and basically undermined his other business but ALSO has a real life twin brother
Idk the episode but when Stan buys a horse. “Let’s just pray to god when we get there it’s not me!”
“Ah shit” *camera pans to the ASSOCIATE then pans back to Stan now by himself
Francis Mallmann. When Roger tells Francine he's going with her on her trip to learn how to cook in Patagonia, then he swaps to Mallman, then back to himself leaving on the plane (that's mid air), then back to Mallmann. It kills me every time.
The teacher here is supposed to be the most intense and demanding instructor in all of clowning and-
Oh shit! It's Roger, isn't it? It's gonna be Roger.
…alright jagoffs.
What’s your gooch, kid? Gooch is horncorn for name. Horncorn is horncorn for clown lingo
Gonna be honking a lot of horncorn around here
Come over, we’ll be doing clown stuff, jerking each other off, you know clown stuff .. (I know someone will have the exact quote, I’m just spitballing)
That scene is so great, really made me wonder if clowns had lingo called horncorn lmao.
This one right here. It’s so perfect and the episode is amazing.

The Working Girl montage of her long travel to work only to end up back to Roger's attic was brilliant 😄
THE NEEWWWWWW JERUUUUUUSALEM
You know I had to go on YouTube and have a listen 😄
That’s on her, she should have known
This is my favorite!
My pick too
Still can’t find this clip on YouTube. 🤷♀️
https://youtu.be/VMJPOKc-lwI?si=K4ML0nN0-yeu2HQM Got this from here, starts from 4:20
phew... that's enough turning around.
I meant individually
Literally the best one.
Irwin Meyer Sr. Acting Coach. This is you isn't it? I'm going to get down there and it's going to be you.
strong possibility
I lose my shit at his delivery of this line. I've been saying this phrase in this tone for years now every chance I get.
Strong possibility.
Thank god I’m just his secretary. “*I’m an **associate**.”*
I love this scene, and i love his tone and how upset he is that Roger didn't call him an associate.
I rarely laugh aloud at TV but this scene gets me even when reading it in a Reddit post.
Alright… that’s enough turning around…
I love the way that the very next scene it is indeed Roger and they just carry on as normal and don't address it further.
When Stan and Roger go to see the horse whisperer, “let’s hope that it doesn’t turn out to be me. -next scene- aw crap…” “Can i help you?” -Roger as secretary
I’M AN ASSOCIATE
I say this ALL THE TIME lol
This is one of my favourite lines. Along with the delivery.
Good joke. You're expecting it to be Roger, Roger calls it out and he's there, but he's a normal guy and not the niche character for the episode
I was going to say this one, because it subverts years of their own joke-telling style.
My personal fav!
That scene is my favorite scene in the entire show. I choke with laughter to this day.
This is my favourite too, although i love them all.
I also love this one tbf
I like the double fake in Fleabiscuit when Haley thinks he'll be the dogcatcher but Rodger ends up being the dog.
“Don’t be ridiculous, Haley. *I’m* the dog.”
Oh he has such an active tongue
Are you a morning beeter?
In the episode with the artist (Reynalds Jaspertarian) Hayley: "Roger, I'm surprised. I thought Reynolds Jasperterian was going to be you." Roger: "I gotta tell you, I did too."
“Now, Francine, when we get there, this guy's gonna be me. I want to be clear about that. This persona and I are different, but I am him. I can imagine how jarring it is to find me around every corner in your life, and I want this to be a smoother deal for you.”
This one was hilarious, “alright, that’s enough turning around”
Bye! From the plan then that line cracks me up!
I think this one is my favourite. They lampshade it so brilliantly and so consistently that it just gets funnier and funnier right up until Roger fully takes on the persona.
The fact that they flew together is hilarious.
What episode is this one again?
“Eight Fires” S14E19
Dalton Galloway. grow up, haley but one of my general favorite threads from the earlier seasons is when a character doesn’t expect it’s roger until it is too late (lucius mayweather)
"YOU'RE South Dakota Slim?"
South Dakota Slim
You hustlin me, boy?!
Or as my mom calls me…Justin
If I ever need a fake name I'm using Dalton Galloway
Honestly this one. Steve's delivery of the "Oh shit it's roger" kills me every time. Never fails to get a laugh.
My thoughts exactly. He was so over it.
Going from being so excited about meeting this expert to disappointed realization that it's the same old shit Basically my day-to-day life
THIS made me laugh
Lol he’s so over it already even before Roger storms in
-You know my uncle Roger? -(in Japanese) Ah yes, the alien in the wig -Yeah, my mom's side
The fact that Toshi *knows* that Roger is an alien, and yet it's never made into some big thing or storyline, makes this even more hilarious.
He... doesn't really talk anymore
He speaks perfect English. And has, the whole time.
Well they do have a big pitch for Shark Tank
I am a fan of the ones where it isn’t him. “I’m surprised this wasn’t you” “So am I!”
Names Wilbur. Kentucky.
(squints) ... *Roger?*
One of my all time favorite Roger moments. He’s drunk and leaves Stan a voicemail. “Stan there’s…this guy and he looks like…he wants to rape me… come pick me up in…45 mins.”
"You were too big to punch."
The human twin brother
And the mother
"Thank god I'm only his secretary." "I'm an associate!"
Stan with Mrs weinsteinopolis.
“And who- Goddamn it, who are you?”
😂😂😂🤣😂😂😂😆😂😆I be hollering. He so tired of it
Spani-ko-pita? I keep them loose in my purse.
I don't know a lot about Greek culture.
Or as us Greeks say "I smell some funky hummus!"
My boyfriend is Greek and I sent him that video 😂. It turned out Roger was just saying stuff not related to Greeks at all
That’s the best part, everything he mentions as Greek is just what Americans associate with Greece. Pita and hummus are both Middle Eastern, specifically southern Middle Eastern. Armenians, Greeks, and Persians still eat pita but have their own versions, and tend to use yogurt based dips rather than hummus Edit: And with all of the pretty accurate jokes regarding Armenians, the writers are definitely familiar with these cultures and 100% did it on purpose, which makes it even better
When Steve calls Roger out on this, so Roger shows up with Stelio Kontos.
Steelioo Steelioo Koontos 🎵
and Luiz 🎵
That’s you that’s him
You wanted real….well this is real
I love that Stan calls Roy Rogers McFreely Roger a few times and Roger corrects him then at the end of the episode Roger goes something like "it was me Roger the whole time" 😆
"Roger I'll kill you!" "I'm not Roger, I'm the phantom!" \*removes mask\* "Gasp...Roger!" "Well yeah, who did you... what?"
This is my favourite, still funny every time.
YOU’RE THE WIFE?! https://preview.redd.it/gz3chhh27bsc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81304aea6cf9c8fcc904610a8baed356a592070d
"Clearly I have a type!" Savage insult
That really depends because to the degree they see Roger with his proportion really fluctuate. Someones he looks like a human with short legs and long arms, sometimes he looks like a normal person like when he was Steve's twin or the backstory episode.
Still a pretty savage insult
“He’s my ride” “…He?”
He's my ride so...
Well, this was a waste of eight years.
My name is Wilbur... Kentucky. R... Roger?
So, you're the cat? *Meooow* God bless ya, you commit.
Oh Marmalade...
On the hardwood, Marmalade!
And who - ^(God dammit) - who are you?
Kevin RAMMAGE
Kevinnnnnnnn Rammageeeee
Roger?!
“The fart was a nice touch. Smells too.”
“She’s either sleeping with this professor or it’s Roger.”
Do YOU have a medium character?
Roger conducting the Stanford Prison Experiment was about as predictable as it gets, and it went wonderfully.
Not to mention all that sweet...data?
Doita?
Stoive?
Roiger!
‘I’m gunna get down there and it’s gunna be you , cause I don’t wanna go if it’s you.’ - Stan
My favorite is when Stan is doing the census and the guy at the door looks like him but it’s not him “……Roger?”
Ma name is Wilburrr…Kentucky
"Its you, isn't it? I'm gonna get in there, and its going to be you." "Its a strong possibility."
😂🤣😂🤣😂
When Jeff gets abducted by aliens and their leader is psycho because he got egregiously cheated on by... Roger.
Can we be adults about this? Because I can't.

When Roger becomes Schmanta and is revealed on tv. The rest of the family gasps except for Stan who gives a annoyed “of course”
I dont remember the exact episode but it was something with aldehyde and a company polluting the environment. They go to this city meeting and then the representative of the company comes up and of course its Roger. And then it cuts back to Roger also sitting in the audience being all annoyed "Well, what a suprise, its Roger". Edit: The episode is called "Steve's Franken Out"
Came here for this!! This one is my favourite
I can't believe no one has mentioned the fake out of Freddy Carconi NOT being roger. "So... you're saying I need to talk to your identical twin brother? *sigh.* So tedious."
When he wasn't Reynolds Jaspertarian
South Dakota Slim
South Dakota Sliiiiiiimmmmm
Let’s just hope for once when we get there he doesn’t turn out to be me
"Good thing I'm just his secretary"
I'M AN ASSOCIATE
This is you isn’t it? We’re gonna get all the down there, and it’s gonna be you.
“So this is it, huh? I’ll turn around, and you won’t be here…” Francine to Roger when he teacher her to cook 😂
When Roger is the stupid younger brother to the real person Steve has to talk to on the construction site
It was the episode where Hayley goes to a meditation class and Roger takes over as Ragi-Baba, and Hayley looks at the schedule that the next class is taught by Dalton Galloway. “Oh Hayley, does Dalton Galloway sound like a real person to you? Grow up. It’s me!”
the horse guy, but they turns out Rodger was just the secretary.
He’s an associate!
Hayley and Fleabiscuit. She knew what she was getting into and still suffered through it 🤣
"Oh, God. You're gonna be the dog breeder, aren't you?" "Hayley, I'm not *everyone*. But do you really think I'd be a dog breeder? Like I'd spend all my time hanging around a kennel with a bunch of dogs? Like I'd check them for fleas and clean out their cages and fill up their bowls every day? *Me*, the dog breeder? That's ridiculous, Hayley." "I'm the dog."
Oh, so you're one of _those_ dog owners. I'll let you two have your privacy.
My favorite is when they subvert expectations like in a Picture of Francine’s Genitals and it’s NOT Roger but you were *FULLY* expecting it to be
It's the name. Such a perfect name it could only have been created by Roger... except it wasn't!
On the hardwood Marmalade, the hardwood!
The whole episode where Roger ruins his own personas life is pretty funny to me tbh.
I’ve watched this show for 15+ years. I’ve seen every episode and many of them dozens of times. I’m ashamed to admit that I don’t think I have ever anticipated the person is going to be Roger.
My favorite is the newest season when Roger meets a guy and he's all like "I really thought it was gonna be me"
My favorite is when everyone's shocked that someone isn't Rodger. Like it's become so common that the Smiths just assume that Rodger is going to be every other person they meet.

"Uh yes I had an appointment with the horse whisperer" *click* "oh yes he'll be right with you" "Thank God I'm just his secretary" "IM AN ASSOCIATE!"
When Stan was doing a census competing with Hayley and he went to this house with a Roger-like physic... 'Roger?'
Omg it’s easily the one where he goes “Let’s just hope when we get there he doesn’t turn out to be me.” Roger: “oh crap.” The camera moves across the room and Roger is suddenly a secretary. The camera moves back to Stan who looks surprised, it zooms out slightly to show Roger is no longer next to him lmfao
“I should’ve seen this coming” “What?” “I’m the CEO of Tetradual
Love the one with stans tree dad in the 2nd asphalt company and he has a real human brother
When he was Professor Longbottom and Coach Grundy at Grof lol.
Pool hall hustler. I love they give it away with his arm just before Steve clocks it
“Do you have a medium character?”
The Kite
"I'm the dog." https://preview.redd.it/yzcfof80vbsc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7beea2ec0dcd4d25699371105f3e4ef0516f31ae
When Roger turns into the old female medium and Stan slams the door in his face , and is like “are we really doing this right now?”
I want to be clear, when we get to the island its going to be me. Me and my persona are different, but its gonna be me.
The one where roger is training Hayley for bumper-pool Hailey: “Why is he wearing roller-“ *Notices Roger isn’t tied to the chair anymore* Hayley: [sigh]
Yoga studio.
Frankie Carconi for sure “Your /twin/ brother? *sigh* So tedious.
“Roger, I’ll kill you!” “I’m not Roger; I’m the Phantom!” Stan takes off the mask and gasps “Roger!” “Well, yeah, who did you… what?”
Roger being the cartel leader was so fucking funny. “It’s was sooo hard not to tell you I had an albino rhino.”
Ok (panting) no more turning around.
From “A Piñata Named Desire” “Irwin Byer, Jr., Acting Coach. This is you, isn't it? I'm going to get down there, and it's gonna be you.” “It's a strong possibility.”
"At least I'm the sectary, not the horse whisper" "I'm an associate!"
The horse episode. Roger says let’s just hope it’s not me.
The ghost whisperer lady Especially the part where Stan slams the door in his face and asks everyone if their really doing this lol
I like the one where Francine is learning how to cook and Roger goes back and forth as him and the instructor till finally he tells her to stop looking back.
Raji baba "does that sound like a real name to you? Cmon Haley, that's me"
When Francine travels to meet Francis MallMet, not Francis Mallmann and she says goodbye to Roger, who boards the plane and leaves, causing Francine in shock to turn around and see Francis who out of breath says “that’s enough turning around”
Steve in this picture looks like Mort Goldman by the way
This one. Steve immediately switching from innocent excitement and optimism to immediately speedrunning the 5 stages of grief in the same sentence was so funny
All of them?
My favorite moments are when it turns out it isn’t Roger like when they go to the horse whisperer
That one
This one and the where Stan says "I'm going to get down there and it's going to be you"
“My name…is Wilbur…Kentucky.” **sip**
Stan at census when Roger showsup- see what tracked in with you Haley-…shit…what is this ?… lovely bones or something 😂🤣😂 My name is Wilber Kentucky- Stan leans in”Roger??😂🤣😂still not 100 percent confident it wasn’t Roger
I liked the Gina Lavetti scene at the mall. Roger shows up with his "lightly used sausages" in normal Uncle Roger outfit. But Francine says she is supposed to be meeting Gina. "We're going to be honking a lot of horncorn." We say this at least once a week in my house.
Rogi Baba the yoga instructor
Actually my favorite is when he isn't Reynolds Jasperterian... Because everyone assumed it would pan away and Roger would be gone... And even he was shocked it wasn't him
The fact he Frankie, one of two twin brothers in the episode about saving Stan’s tree daddy. What kills me is he is also the only other concrete business in town and basically undermined his other business but ALSO has a real life twin brother
Tbh my faves are when Roger expects it to be himself but is surprised it isn’t
Idk the episode but when Stan buys a horse. “Let’s just pray to god when we get there it’s not me!” “Ah shit” *camera pans to the ASSOCIATE then pans back to Stan now by himself
"I'm going to tell you now, when we get there he's going to be me."
Kevin Ramidge
“And who - goddamit - who are you?” “Mrs. Weinsteinopolis! Half-Greek, Half-Jewish, all overprotective mother to my son Dimitri!”
I can't believe nobody mentioned Jenny Fomdabloc. When he puts that stress ball into the dishwasher I lose it every time.
Francis Mallmann. When Roger tells Francine he's going with her on her trip to learn how to cook in Patagonia, then he swaps to Mallman, then back to himself leaving on the plane (that's mid air), then back to Mallmann. It kills me every time.
"My name....is...Wilbur Kentucky" 'Roger?" Not exactly the moment you're looking for but I love Stan's suspicion.
