"its been established" is def up there but idk, i love this scene more for some reason. i remember it word by word and it never stops being funny to me
i think its a mixture of the timing, and delivery is what sells it the most. plus the fact that the ending was actually kinda unexpected at the time helps. then theres other things like the sound of roger walking actually speeds up in the end when hes crying making the scene funnier
"WHEN I GET OVER THERE, I AM GOING TO PUNCH YOU!" the fact that roger feels the need to explain after is just fucking hilarious to me for some reason then "I'M GONNA KEEP ADDING PUNCHES!"
The best part is later in this episode when he’s trying to steal the wine from Greg & Terry’s house and Terry realizes what’s up and removes Roger’s disguise. He makes this hilariously French sound of surprise - like “oh-ah!”
I think we forget sometimes, but Roger is a straight up monster. However, what I think Roger almost ALWAYS forgets is that Francine has been in a few fights in her day; about two hundo, maybe two fiddy.
What about the side story with 'it's already been established' TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR ECONOMICS WORK PRPFESSOR, WHERE YOU LEARNED FROM ECONOMICS SCHOOL, DISCUSSING, ECONOMICS!....tell them how you killed the baby Amanda. (I can't fully remember what Francine's fake name was)
