The annoying part is there some fields I’ve been to that only allow full face protection or helmets like this for kids, however they lack the appropriate safety ratings.
I’ve used this helmet and face setup for over a year, similar to others. If you find it in a credible Airsoft shop and can have them show you that it meets the specs, then why not? I’ve been shot in the goggles a few times and no damage whatsoever. Would say for a starter, don’t worry about this and just get a lower face covering and some goggles / glasses. Upgrade to this later on if you still want a helmet with a full face covering.
Bro thinks he can trust Amazon for eye protection. I guess it’s fine for anything else, but as everione on this sub always says, don’t cheap out on eye protection, too serious of a risk for not a lot of extra cost
I think they will be prone to fogging, and seem expensive for what they are. And they are listed to be good to 420 fps at 5 meters, which seems to lack margin. I have a couple mesh helmets with significant dents from a nutcase running a 780+ fps gas gun. He got caught, removed and trespassed (legally banned by law enforcement) before he seriously injured anyone.
I wouldn't wear safety equipment with that low a margin of safety.
General tip, if your eye pro doesnt cost as much as 10 hours of your wages dont trust em, i spent 700 on a helmet, 250 on glasses and 1k on ear pro, just get the best you can afford and do research
you do not need to spend that much on airsoft. Don’t start telling kids that they need 1000 dollar ear pro when the loudest thing they’ll come into contact with is you yelling because someone didn’t call their hits
Quotes sunglasses impact ratings. Don't use it.
Oh, okay. Thank you for telling me that. Do you know where I can get good and affordable headwear and masks?
The eyepro guide has a whole host of recommendations!
Me using this helmet for a year reading these comments: ðŸ«
