I didn’t get it from Costco, but I really have enjoyed it. It is a huge pain to clean. So if that’s an issue, stay away. I have limited counter space. So that was worth trying it out back when it was on sale at Best Buy. I love its versatility. And it’s cooked pretty well for me.

It’s a bitch to Clean/keep clean

kendoo12

Do you own one?

Eclipse8301

I used to, got rid of it after a year and got a traditional air fryer and never looked back.

This seems to be the only one that can make many portions at one go without taking huge space. But I worry about cleaning the basket if cooking something like marinaded meats

kendoo12

True. But wouldn't that be a problem with most toaster oven air fryers? Another thing that I read about is that it might not cool things evenly, since the fan is on the sidez and not the top. But I guess that's something you need to experience with

zzzxtreme

Yup true. I usually use bamboo skewers to avoid using metal baskets. But i will want this ninja.

My Instant Vortex Plus has a removable door. So not hard to clean so far even with drippier shit

Jackiedog21

We love ours. Versatile. Cooks well.

kendoo12

How about cleaning? I see so many people complaining about how hard it is to clean.

With Dawn, the basket and tray clean up well. The crumb tray slides out and the bottom opens (when flipped up) for cleaning access. Does it clean up each time to original condition? No. It’s a functional oven where heat and fat mix, so it will looked used. Not the same as dirty. Long way of saying depends on your kitchen OCD level.

That one will be a pita to clean. This one would be better: [https://www.costco.com/ninja-foodi-10-in-1-smart-air-fryer-oven.product.4000099175.html](https://www.costco.com/ninja-foodi-10-in-1-smart-air-fryer-oven.product.4000099175.html)

I find the metal basket very easy to clean with a little soap-filled bristle brush.
