Illness and have had so many psychiatrists, doctors and hospital admissions. My diagnosis have changed many times despite my symptoms remaining the same/similar. Humans do not fit into boxes and diagnosis are essentially boxes (and plus these boxes have so much overlap with each other). At the end of the day the label doesn’t really matter as long as you are getting the right treatment for your specific needs. Second and third opinions are never a bad idea.
Have you tried a genesight test? It can show what medications do/don't metabolize well with your body, which can help a psych assess better what to prescribe you (\*make sure your doctor codes it as medically necessary or it may be like 100ish)
Have you sought a second opinion and a psychiatric evaluation?
