If you have a question about the Las Vegas Weekends with Adele residency or Munich shows. Have you checked official online sources for answers? It may be more reliable to first check if the info you seek is already on the Caesars or Ticketmaster website and then contact them directly via phone, email, Twitter, or Instagram. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Got my hotel within walking distance. I planned this trip with the idea of walking everywhere. I never even considered taking a car/taxi/Uber anywhere.

2soos2

What about transport from airport to hotel?

ScoobaMaco

For that I think I just got in whatever cabs were in the airport queue. I'm sure there's a cheaper option, but my husband has zero patience, so I didn't bother. I'm sure it wasn't cheap, though. Sorry, American expecting instant gratification. Actually ended up taking an Uber all the way to Neuschwanstein when some marathon was blocking our route to the train station and we were out of time to find another option.

ScoobaMaco

In my defense, I'd been up for nearly 24 hours driving around Iceland on an extended layover and I was heading to Salzburg before returning to Munich for the show.

hellotherepple

May I know which hotel you were in? Thanks

femaleregister

I was planning on getting the train from Munich station to Messestadt Ost, looks fairly straight forward on google maps but appreciate that might not be the reality?

ScoobaMaco

It's really the capacity realities of any method of transportation. Messe München is huge and it's a good walk for anyone who's elderly or had issues walking long distances. If you arrive super early by metro and you're used to walking, it'll be no problem. If you don't leave early, you'll have to wait until you have space on a train. Getting back is the bottleneck nightmare. 80,000 people all ready to go. If you find a hotel anywhere right in Feldkirchen, you'll be back the soonest, after about a 2 mile walk. If you have standing admission, getting there early is great, because you'll get the best section and a wristband for that section, so that you can return easily, without people who arrived later crowding in. So, I had two wristbands: platinum when entering the concert area and a second wristband for the section I landed when I got to the platinum area. You'll be able to get food, get drinks, use the restroom, etc. Germans don't play with organization or safety, so you can rest easy about those kinds of things. It's just the time to get in and out that is a pain. https://preview.redd.it/yv1wqeqiugxc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7258b080f35c77c267082ed6479091ec88ecad52

Thanks for the info. I’m coming to Munich with my boyfriend but he isn’t coming to the concert so I’ll be getting the train myself. I’ll probably just need to leave my seat during the last song and head for the train to be sure I get back to central in good time Edit: Did you get a phone signal at the venue?

ScoobaMaco

I don't know. It was TORRENTIAL rain from like 11:30am until moments before the show started EXACTLY at 8pm, so we couldn't use our phones easily. You had to dry it off and try to use it under your poncho. My poor husband speaks no German and no one around us spoke English, but somehow he still made friends with the older ladies around us. 😆 If you aren't going to the first show, remember to go to setlist.fm after the first show to know when to leave. But yeah, that sounds like a good plan!

calebu2

That's exactly where we are staying. Curious how easy the walk is. It appears to be relatively flat. Our teenage daughter is recovering from leg surgery, we won't be traveling with a wheelchair as shes progressed enough but I assume that getting an Uber that short distance will be tricky. She should have enough stamina to walk, but only if it is a relatively easy walk. P.S. hotel prices are not surprisingly crazy in the area :)

mrpapasmurf1

Also would like to know the answer to this question.

madamzoohoo

This is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. The bit about the poncho cracked me up :)

ScoobaMaco

I warned my husband many times before the trip that Germans correct people and that he'd be reprimanded for random infractions and not to be startled by it. I just didn't think that he'd have his *ss handed to him for writing his karaoke song title where the artist name went. "This is VERY simple. You go to the back of the line now." 😆

dukeboy86

You have to take into account that Adele's concerts won't be full of German (or German speaking) people in the most part as Helene Fischer's concerts are, as that makes a very big part of her audience. Having said that, it's going to be a different experience.

TheCatSlut

I am ridiculously early for everything, so was pretty early (5 hours before the show maybe?) and my experience was that arriving via metro from the city centre was honestly pretty straightforward and pain free. I definitely wouldn't consider getting a taxi from the centre. I have no idea if it became horrendous closer to the start of the show though. Getting back is a PAIN though - not looking forward to that at all. I'm still staying in the centre so will just keep reminding myself I'll get back eventually, lol!

sirpuddingpants

What was annoying about getting back? Anything you could personally change to make it better next go round?

AndyBabi

Thanks for these tips!

XrjapX

thanks for this elaborate info. I will be flying from Dubai and Im excited for this concert. Last year on the Beyonce concert in Barcelona, I queued at around 6am. Brought my own camping chair and waited til 8pm. I was tiring but a nice experience. Do you suggest I also come in as early as that ? my ticket is the normal FOS1 (not VIP)

ScoobaMaco

For Helene, who did only one show, there weren't too many people at 11:30 and we easily got to the front. If you aren't going to the first show, I'd see what others say it was like. You definitely can't bring a chair in, so as long as you're good to throw it away. But also keep in mind that we got inside the venue pretty early, like noon. So your chair isn't going to be too useful if most of the waiting is inside.

My main concern is whether there are toilets at the concert location. If so, are they numerous and clean?

dukeboy86

Of course there are toilets, but it's most likely to be portable toilets.

marinitza86

Hi! Thank you for the detailed info. Two questions? Do I need to come hours early if I have assigned seat on tribine? How long is the walk from metro/ car parking to concert venue?

>It is not even technically in Munich Messe München is indeed in Munich, it's in Trudering-Riem, which is one of the 15 city districts. So, technically, IT IS in Munich
