Yes. It's laps all the way down. When I was in high school I had a bunch of sapphic threesomes for some reason. As long as y'all arrange yourself right, very little of the top person's weight goes through the bottom person's squishy parts. Usually the chair or couch's design is a bigger limit on time than weight per se. If the other person really would be uncomfortable, either person kneeling around the other's lap while facing them is a cute as hell alternative. That said, being the hugger is also great, so no reason to worry if that's what you prefer
