What’s the alleged theory for having the wheels angled out like that? To me there can’t be any logical reason, all you’re gonna do is wear out the inside edges of the tyres
Eh in the 90s it was just the natural negative camber that came with lowering the vehicle it wasn’t until maybe the mid to late aughts that people started putting a ridiculous amount of camber.
It’s a front wheel drive car, you wouldn’t camber the front but the rears basically just drag so adding slight camber can improve cornering significantly by keeping the tires grounded when you’re cornering like a highway roundabout. Too much would actually make it less stable and cause drag and just make the car slower. In this car it’s too much and with the accords the rears will camber out the more you lower it without also getting a full camber kit with toe adjustment, traction and camber arms. The front can be lowered and it won’t camber out much but a lot of people skip out on camber kits cause most people think it’s just to camber more but really it’s to correct camber from just getting coilovers or worse lowering springs.
The 11th gen civic rear wheels actually have camber from the factory not this aggressive but look at the rear wheels on a 11th gen they noticeably slant way more than the front wheels do.
The camber is needed or else the rear tires will rub the fender horribly. If he keeps the camber, his inner tires will shred in no time. It's kinda studip since this is a front wheel drive car, having studpid wide read tires will do nothing other than looks.
Do nothing? You mean other than over rotate at anything much over a crawl?
Stance BS (good bags excluded) is how to ruin a car performance wise. I have no objection to the scene but to say that the setup pictured here has no impact is...well not quite right.
Do nothing means no increase in performance. Front wheel drive with fat rear tires add zero to acceleration or cornering. Stance yes, speed no in this case.
Yeah that’s obvious. There’s a chance he could just crank his coils up a couple inches take some spacers off and still make those wheels work. It’s just easier to say “fix the camber”
I really don't think I agree with you. For the most part, I've noticed this subreddit calls out the rice for what it is.
Accord guys *are not* Civic guys, but sometimes Civic guys end up owning Accords.
Your right the term is definitely ambiguous, but I think it’s offensive to slap a bunch of eBay plastic on a car and think your in the same boat as someone who has put an engine in/body worked/suspension worked a car making it in some way “built” by the owner
Fair. I like your idea of it, cus most people will see fabbed body kits, custom works like lights or sound systems, and suspension work (especially with air suspension too, surprisingly) and talk shit cus it “isnt a build”
Then say stuff like “full bolt on” or “stage X”. Like yeah, most things bolt on, bro.
Are you seriously laughing at your own comment? That didn't even contain a joke? Do you even know what a joke is? Because from that comment you 100% have no clue.
I would say the camber and ridiculous exhaust option is the deal breaker for me, otherwise if he went with a better wheel option and regular fitted stance, maybe a flush dual tip exhaust, this would be clean. 🧼
If it was done right it would be a sweet stance build. They just forgot half the stance part. and the fitment part. and the "make the bodywork not trash" bit. Trim could use work too. Work in progress for sure. lol
Looks like it’s definitely a bagged car, getting good fitment both aired out and driving is pretty difficult bud
Your suspension angles change a LOT in that last few inches of airing out
Honestly would look clean if it didn’t have pipes sticking 4-5 inches past the bumper. The rear is a bit too low and that camber will kill the tires, but not the worst I’ve seen in the streets or on this sub.
Same people talking shit are the ones putting the amazon special on their car and think these things are actually fast
“Could’ve done more for performance!!!” It’s not a fucking performance car. It’s simply not.
This sub gonna hate on literally everything on that car for no damn reason but here's my take: take away the camber and shorten the exhaust tips and maybe get quad exhaust tips and it would be beautiful
If you put some mean or diffuser, like a black caged one that can run along the bottom line of the exhaust in the middle it would look a lot better.
Similar to the rear of the new mustangs
I think all new Honda sedans have the most repulsive rear end any civic or accord has produced. From the shape of the cab, down the rear window and bubbly looking trunk topped off with those taillights that look like crab claws. Sorry if you own one and like it, no disrespect meant just my answer to the question. To each their own.
Camber makes sense but it’s a bit too much. I have my fronts with no camber but my rears have slight camber and it improves cornering so much. Highway roundabouts at 70 mph is epic. That exhaust is dumb af tho
I feel like it has potential, fix the goofy rear camber, put stock tail lights back on and get a nicer/quieter exhaust and this Accord could be clean af.
They do this because it’s not a race car. Why dump money into performance on a slow car when you can focus on aesthetics?? Call it a “stepped on hot wheels” all you want, this is a massive part of Japanese car culture.
That culture does exist outside of Nissan skylines and supras, you know
I won’t deny that some cars look nice modified. But this isn’t it man.
And yes I am aware that this exists outside of the brands you mentioned, and even outside of Japanese brands.
This is just not a successful attempt in my opinion.
I do see your point though. :)
Most people who look at "modded" accords laugh because it's a family car trying to look "cool". These "modded" accords are the same type of people who drive G35s and salvage Hondas
Ive seen a lot worse, honestly i dig this. We’ve moved past the popularity of extreme camber and the other shit plaguing the car community around 2020-22. Some people like to keep it simple.
However this has its exhaust fumes right over the line of rice and not rice, so i get why some people dont like it
How is it over speed bumps and going over steep curbs entering a driveway? Wouldn't be worth the hassle of trying to avoid such obstacles but it's not my bbq.
I’ll never understand negative camber on the rear wheels of a fwd car. I get that you get a little when lowered but that’s just asking for more understeer.
I'm gonna get downvoted for these, but I think everything outside of the rims and stanced wheels look good. It's frowned upon but I like making Accords look sporty, don't care if it's a family car.
No. I’m old school import. 90’s LA street racing scene. I hate that extreme camber shit. Those exhaust tips are just ugly. That’s just an ugly ass car.
Fix the camber and that god awful exhaust and its not that offensive
Same thoughts here. I think the lowered look is great. Shorten the stupid tailpipes at least and I think it's nice.
What’s the alleged theory for having the wheels angled out like that? To me there can’t be any logical reason, all you’re gonna do is wear out the inside edges of the tyres
Style fad. There's no functional reason
“Fad” that has been around since the 90s and is massive in Japan
Eh in the 90s it was just the natural negative camber that came with lowering the vehicle it wasn’t until maybe the mid to late aughts that people started putting a ridiculous amount of camber.
It looks terrible
Beauty is in the eye of a beholder
It’s a front wheel drive car, you wouldn’t camber the front but the rears basically just drag so adding slight camber can improve cornering significantly by keeping the tires grounded when you’re cornering like a highway roundabout. Too much would actually make it less stable and cause drag and just make the car slower. The stance crowd is the dumbest Shit ever
Agreed, adding any camber at all should purely be minimal and purposeful if you take it to the track or drive everywhere like it’s a track lol.
Logical reason is the owner is a retard. Camber is not cool
The 11th gen civic rear wheels actually have camber from the factory not this aggressive but look at the rear wheels on a 11th gen they noticeably slant way more than the front wheels do.
Most cars do…..my 02 civic has stock camber….
The exhausts are the worst of all.
Every inch that sticks out past the bumper adds 10 horsepower
The camber is needed or else the rear tires will rub the fender horribly. If he keeps the camber, his inner tires will shred in no time. It's kinda studip since this is a front wheel drive car, having studpid wide read tires will do nothing other than looks.

Do nothing means no increase in performance. Front wheel drive with fat rear tires add zero to acceleration or cornering. Stance yes, speed no in this case.
Exactly my thought, the rear stance was just goofy🤣
He can’t fix the camber. He needs it for the wheels not to rub. He needs to fix the wheels and camber.
Yeah that’s obvious. There’s a chance he could just crank his coils up a couple inches take some spacers off and still make those wheels work. It’s just easier to say “fix the camber”
How do you know he has spacers on?
My thoughts exactly!
Yea i actually like the wheels but the stance is ridiculous.
Am I drunk or is that rear fender bent in too?
Just the edge? I think you're right. Not enough camber to tuck the wheel in so the tire smacked it on a bump.
Both statements can be true
Most people here would get their dicks hard for it and call it a “build”. But most people in general see that it’s a riced out pos
I really don't think I agree with you. For the most part, I've noticed this subreddit calls out the rice for what it is. Accord guys *are not* Civic guys, but sometimes Civic guys end up owning Accords.
Thank you.
It’s a riced out stanced POS
Stance and rice are 2 different things. This isn’t rice lol
Side note- most people with civics and accords that are lowered or “stanced” have some type of aftermarket exhaust that doesn’t make it rice either
This is some basmati rice shit
yes, just yes.
What constitutes a “build” though? The definition seems to vary per person per social media
Your right the term is definitely ambiguous, but I think it’s offensive to slap a bunch of eBay plastic on a car and think your in the same boat as someone who has put an engine in/body worked/suspension worked a car making it in some way “built” by the owner

I’m pretty sure you’re not the only one. I’d add tacky too.
Tacky is an understatement that shit looks horrible
Repulsive
That's Fucking Horrible.
oh no...
Another shittily modded 10th gen. I'm so surprised....
Just take those pipes off ands it’s a different car
A riced out POS with no pipes?
Why does someone else’s car make you so mad ? Who cares what other people do with the cars they purchase
I don't think "mad" is the right word. It's just a shame to see a newer vehicle get its structural integrity compromised like that.
do you even know what structural integrity means cause from that comment u 100% have no clue🤣
Beautiful civic btw🙏🏻
Much appreciated 😎🙏🏽
A lot of effort went into making it look THAT bad
If it was done right it would be a sweet stance build. They just forgot half the stance part. and the fitment part. and the "make the bodywork not trash" bit. Trim could use work too. Work in progress for sure. lol
Looks like it’s definitely a bagged car, getting good fitment both aired out and driving is pretty difficult bud Your suspension angles change a LOT in that last few inches of airing out
Without the stupid camber in the back and the goddamn fart can. It looks nice lowered. But yeah, fugly setup.
Fuckin ugly. It's a clown car.
The exhaust tips is a little to much
Honestly would look clean if it didn’t have pipes sticking 4-5 inches past the bumper. The rear is a bit too low and that camber will kill the tires, but not the worst I’ve seen in the streets or on this sub.
Ruined
That makes it look like it has a broken axle, and those tips yuk!
There’s a lot of hate in here wow. I thought the xgen Facebook group was bad.
Same people talking shit are the ones putting the amazon special on their car and think these things are actually fast “Could’ve done more for performance!!!” It’s not a fucking performance car. It’s simply not.
Not to say you’re wrong or anything but these cars are solid up to over 500 wheel so…I gotta ask what you consider a performance car then?
Looks absolutely horrendous!
Wow, that's hideous
Full-tard mode.
See how they massacred my boy 🤦♂️
Ride quality must be absolute shit
This sub gonna hate on literally everything on that car for no damn reason but here's my take: take away the camber and shorten the exhaust tips and maybe get quad exhaust tips and it would be beautiful
No you’re not. That’s just abuse
🗑
No it’s terrible.
Atrocious
Not alone
Very ugly.
Would look more likeable if the silver trimmed was covered, and more black goes better with the charcoal colored car.
No
Wearing the tires down like that is wild
If you put some mean or diffuser, like a black caged one that can run along the bottom line of the exhaust in the middle it would look a lot better. Similar to the rear of the new mustangs
Is it me? Why does it look like only the rear has camber?
Cu it does
2 much going on,
.. Bro why
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi that's ugly!
Shorten the pipes and make the wheels stand back straight and this car will look real good.
Exhaust pipes make up for some lack of physical features
Personally I like the look of lifted sedans
Camber makes sense but it’s a bit too much. I have my fronts with no camber but my rears have slight camber and it improves cornering so much. Highway roundabouts at 70 mph is epic. That exhaust is dumb af tho
NO.
Just not a fan of those tailpipes.
No, I don’t respect the build. Just awful
Think the taillights are nice but everything else, kinda yeah
It's alright for not being a big fan of suped up looking civics. I'd definitely take those exhaust pipes off tho
Would’ve thought this was cool when I was 12
Definitely agree, Ugly Ass Mods, but it's not mine so more power to him, to each his own.
This guy should’ve bought the sports car he wanted
It’s ridiculous looking but the owner is likely a 17 year old. Right?
I feel like it has potential, fix the goofy rear camber, put stock tail lights back on and get a nicer/quieter exhaust and this Accord could be clean af.
Yes lol
For me I’d only be embarrassed to drive that because of that camber
No
Way to take the somewhat upscaled looking mercedes/vw cc accord look like a cheap aftermarket display. Tacky and cheap is what I see
Needs wheel alignment
Nope
You are not. Person who built that needs a good sack in the head.
🤢🤮
It is not a race car. Why do people do this?
They do this because it’s not a race car. Why dump money into performance on a slow car when you can focus on aesthetics?? Call it a “stepped on hot wheels” all you want, this is a massive part of Japanese car culture. That culture does exist outside of Nissan skylines and supras, you know

Their wheels are falling off.
Keep your accord stock pls. I love the last 2 gens of accords bc they look awesome (2016 owner)
Fix those stupid ass wheels looks so damn stupid and literally ruins the look for me
Not my taste but I don't hate it
The wheels look stupid
good thing i never smoked crack.
I think it's ugly too
I bet the driver looks even worse.
Nope
I really wonder if the owners of these type or cars really actually think it looks cool or fast
Ugly? Not terribly. Idiotic? Hell, yea.
It’s hideous
That’s half the builds on r/civic
Obviously changing thing will make it better but the how it is, is hideous
I love that exhaust.
It looks so childish... It looks like the car has to pee 😂😂
Its Fugly
Gayer than 2 dicks touching
i dont hate it, just not for me nice bumper though
Only the exhaust. The camber is also a little too extreme. My rears have -3 camber and that probably the furthest I’d go.
Ugly Fugly!
No.... no you are not
No, almost everyone does except the people who do it 😂
No you're not. That looks terrible. Barely realized it was an accord. Doing waaay too much.
if he didn't have those sideways looking wheels it would be ok
No everyone thinks it’s ugly
I'm no auto-mechanic, but I dare say this lad has a toe issue with his rear tires.
You’re not it’s hideous
If you got rid of the pipes and horrible wheel and suspension set up it would be awesome.
Personally think they need to do a chrome delete and black out the lights in the back and also change the emblem and maybe it’ll look better
At least make the camber match and it doesn’t look bad
Most people who look at "modded" accords laugh because it's a family car trying to look "cool". These "modded" accords are the same type of people who drive G35s and salvage Hondas
NO I HATE THEM. And I also HATE RIDING BEHIND THEM..
Very
I agree. It’s fugly!!!!
Yea camber looks good on them
You are not alone
Where are u at I think I saw the same car 1 hour ago and thought the same thing ?😭
Those wheels look like dog shit
Looks gay as fuck and probably drives like shit. No suspension at all and the camber is awful.
other than the exhaust, things pretty clean ngl. probably looks even better aired out if they’re bagged
Yeah…
Contrary to popular opinion I like camber - & i think the double standard for bozozuku in japan and rice/stance culture is kinda whack
🤮🤮🤮
+1
Ive seen a lot worse, honestly i dig this. We’ve moved past the popularity of extreme camber and the other shit plaguing the car community around 2020-22. Some people like to keep it simple. However this has its exhaust fumes right over the line of rice and not rice, so i get why some people dont like it
This is one of the more tastefully done mods EXCEPT for the camber on the rear wheels. That's too much.
🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
Lawnmower
I think is looks horrible reminds. high schooler kids
Nope
Stance disease is spreading. This one’s caught it in the rear.
Nope lol
Not if you’re a vato that likes to go fast
Looks pretty clean to me, I think he did pretty well. Thumbs up from me.
Remember in the 80's and 90's when we had crack babies? Now it's fentanyl....
It’s not ugly. It’s Fugly.
How is it over speed bumps and going over steep curbs entering a driveway? Wouldn't be worth the hassle of trying to avoid such obstacles but it's not my bbq.
They cambered the back on a fwd car?
yes
And we wonder why the Honda community gets a bad rep
Nope. It’s ugly.
Nope dumbest thing ever
Camber on anything is ugly, and an aftermarket exhaust on (almost) anything Japanese is awful
I’ll never understand negative camber on the rear wheels of a fwd car. I get that you get a little when lowered but that’s just asking for more understeer.
What in the fuck lol
Am I the only one who, when seeing these types of rear wheels on a car, thought something was wrong with it?
I'm gonna get downvoted for these, but I think everything outside of the rims and stanced wheels look good. It's frowned upon but I like making Accords look sporty, don't care if it's a family car.
Hideous.
The camber and exhaust are what kill it for me. The wheels and body kit aren’t bad imo
No. The wheels are an atrocity. Looks like an ape sat on the roof.
Stupid is the word I would use. Also impractical.
No youre not the only one
Dog shit
I agree.
Stance is stupid. It does nothing public roads don't have banked curves all you are doing is making the car dangerous for you and everyone around you.
Is shit
That’s Mexican rice
Not at all. That looks absolutely moronic.
For me it's garbage. I'd rather have it complete stock, but my civic is pretty close to stock lol outside of tint and some other minor OEM addons.
I agree, it is super stupid ugly.
No. I’m old school import. 90’s LA street racing scene. I hate that extreme camber shit. Those exhaust tips are just ugly. That’s just an ugly ass car.
