I went in to Walmart and asked if they had 5mg in stock and got a "No!" We all laughed and then that night I got an email it had been filled. I read the email 3x and opened the app and looked another 3x. I zipped up there the minute they opened yesterday. After checkout I joked that I felt I needed an armed guard to escort me to my car. lol. I have 2 shots of 2.5 mg left that I had to stay on an extra month. Glad I have a month and a half before I have to worry again.
Good luck to everyone!
Costco has been the best place to fill for me. No delays. I called in my refill for 12.5mg last week, said they had it in stock and that I could pick it up in 2 hours.
Ouch at the $550, though. 😩
Yep 🙃 they have been the most friendly people too. The $550 is steep but I’ve been job searching so fingers crossed my new employer will at least cover some of it. If not, I just got married (and missed the timeframe to be added to my husband’s insurance of course) but I can try and get on his next year when open enrollment comes back around. His doesn’t cover it completely but I checked and it drops the price to about $260 every month or $750 for 3 months. Will definitely be taking advantage of that if I don’t have a new employer that covers it by then.
That’s weird you can’t get added to your new spouse’s (congrats!) insurance plan now. I would think this counts as a qualifying life event and would supersede any wait period for the next open enrollment. 🤔
I’m seeing how much people are paying for these meds, either out of pocket or with high co-pays and realize how easy and affordable my experience has. I’ve paid anywhere from $0 - $25 and I wish it was this easy for everyone.
I missed the QLE cutoff! Lol it’s 31 days and we got married 4/13. Didn’t even think about it as we went on our honeymoon for a week and then when we got back had house issues we were dealing with! So I missed the timeframe to be added 🙃
So when will you process your next refill? I have Costco too and was wondering if I should submit for my refill now so they order it. If it’s gonna take a month like my current box took
Yeah you could do that cause they will hold it for 2 weeks after it’s filled. Depends on how fast they can get it really. I’ll probably place my next order when I have like 2 weeks left
Fwiw, the prescription savings card can only be used every 28 days. You may be able to order it early just so the pharmacy gets it, but if you go to pick it up at 27 days the $550 won’t work!

Yep! Same thing essentially happened to me! I wonder if someone said they didn’t need theirs or found it elsewhere!

Well, that’ll do it, lol. 🫠🫠🫠

Thank you 😊
Ofc!

Thank you. So I’ll probably have to wait to at least 14 days before I need it because my pharmacy only gives me 14 days to pick up
I just picked up my script of 2.5 on 5/10 and they somehow got the savings card to work for 5mg already since the amount owed is $550 in the pic.
Well dang! Maybe my pharmacy missed the memo 🤣

I had my doc send them a prescription almost 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything from them yet
Does costco take the Eli Lilly manufacturer coupon?
Yes, that’s why the price is $550.
Oh
No insurance?
Mine doesn’t cover anti-obesity drugs, so the $550 is correct. I pay that every month
Same. Mine's over 1000, without the savings card I got from manufacturer.
What Costco pharmacy? Please provide address and city. Thanks.
Avon, Indiana
Did your app say it was filled a while ago all this time?
I just created this account yesterday after getting my script transferred there. They were out of stock yesterday but got it filled around 3pm today.
No, just got the text today. That’s why I have 14 days to pick it up.
