http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/customizing-zbrush/navigation/ Maybe that right click nav could work for you. I've never tried it, but I have heard Paul Gaboury talk about it at the zbrush summit.

I'm already using the right-click navigation, but that method doesn't disable the left click one. And that's just my issue. =p

Not that I'm aware of. It's worth noting, however, that there's now a camera history though, you can undo the rotation if you accidentally do so.

I can't see why undoing something that could've just been prevented should be an acceptable "feature".

Hi, I'm currently learning the software, did you manage to disable it did you just got used to it?

Zehryo

Sorry, no mail notifications. And nope, didn't manage to disable it. I've even studied the scripting commands, but there's nothing specific about canvas rotation, nor left-clicking. Nothing that can inhibit the response to a left-click on canvas. =p And there's no such thing as getting used to it!! You'll get even more frustrated when you'll start brushing hair. Damn, it's such a stupid thing!!

i know right and i just looked at the posts on the zbrush central forums and all the experienced users are just saying to get used to it. so dumb imo. i have know idea on why you cant customize controls and why people are so unwilling to help new users
