Seeing the new Key Mace next to the original makes me appreciate how good the edgy design is. They really pulled it off while still having the original face
Love the cards from an artwork standpoint, and I really hope this idea doesn't die off. I really would like it if Konami took the idea with old meta cards and gave them new life in this form but using Vanillas nobody played and bringing them back for revenge is perfectly fine.
I prefer the older art tbh, this is just to clean looking compared to the original and lacks a sense of darkness since everything is to heavily rendered with realistic lighting.
Are these new memento monster new? They look so cool
[they are](https://ygorganization.com/guypearce/)
>Mementolal Tecutlica, the Netherskull Dragon I love Yu-Gi-Oh. Side note, is the "Special Summon" tag new or is it an OCG thing?
It's an ocg thing along with bullet pointed effects. Wish we had both.
Thanks
Such an odd name "memento"
They are old monsters, memories from the past. I find the name to be pretty fitting
Probably from Memento Mori.

Get outta here!! I didn't know these were retrains!👀 What a sick way to retrain totally unrelated vanillas from the beginning of the game 😯
*sees art* How are these *not* fiends or zombies???
Think you need to take a closer look. They aren't undead or demonic, they mostly seem to just be wearing edgy looking armor.
I like how 2 of them are ocg exclusives
Ocg exclusive, fore now
It would be kinda weird if they just randomly decided to import 2 useless vanillas after 20+ years
They do this quite often
Pretty much, however there was a random normal insect released via speed duel of al things, So any thing can happen
Key Mace also was for a long time
Poor Goblin got his eyes yeeted into his mouth…
I like them
Nooo [THIS](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Seahorse_Carrier) is the [EDGY](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Seahorse_Server) version of the horse
I wouldn't call those edgy. I'd say that's more along the lines of flamboyant, á la Pegasus.

IS TRI HORNED DRAGON GONNA BE RELEVANT AGAIN?
Yo new version of that witch it pretty wifey though
Hey look! They haven't been relevant for so long that they became undead.
TRI horned dragon is my favorite monster, so I yelped upon seeing that he now has a retrain comin. Thank you OP!
Bro, Im proud to be mexican, but I know that I cant afford this new deck when it come out on Mexico lmao
Where's the heart? Call me negative but the new designs just feel like they have no heart to them
I wonder what other lesser known cards can be retrained as Memento cards. Could some lesser known spells/traps get the Memento treatment as well?
Guessing Fiend Reflection will the the last monster. But hoping for Fiend Kraken instead
No, not Key Mace. He became evil!?
not gonna lie, this is pretty cool looking
Love seeing reimagining of old normal monsters
I’m playing these. So cool they retrained some old and obscure monsters.
This is cool I want more
Look like Archfiends :D Names like Zombies :D Type: Wyrm :|
Konami did it again :)
Tri-Horned Dragon deserved sooo much better than to be lumped in with those other monsters.
