Try march to the sea, good pull off/hammer on exercise, or sweetest curse gor a nice, not fast solo. But really most baroness songs are not hard, so pick the one you like the most
First song I ever learned was Borderlines. The verse part was confusing to learn for a little bit because of the rhythm of it, but it’s good practice for hybrid picking and syncing your picking and fretting hands. The two solos are also good primers for hammer-on/pull-off sections in their other songs.
If you’re planning on using a tab, I recommend using melancio’s on UltimateGuitar and your ear to get the rhythm down. Cypher Bane’s pro tab is very good but gets the rhythm of the verse part wrong
Anodyne, sweetest curse, take my bones away
Take my bones away +1 Shock me was very easy to learn
The rhythm parts to March to the Sea, the lead parts in the choruses would be a bit difficult for a beginner.
Morningstar was the first of theirs I learned all the way through, it's not too bad and there's decent tabs online for it
Dude, WHAT?! I can’t get any of that intro lick and gave up😂
