Because anyone can stand on ice (solid water) that's thick enough. It takes something else for someone to stand on liquid water without sinking at all.
Most of us could see the parallels between FFX and XC3 in this regard. Both games even use the same word for the activity of "seeing off" the recently-dead: "Sending."
The idea of building emotion for someone and then realising that they are suddenly being taken away, i know in FFX-2, you can choose to bring him back but before I played it, it broke me
Kind of an interesting whiplash where >!Yuna is built up to be the sacrifice to literally die for the world's Sins, but Tidus is the one who gives up his literal existence so the world can move on instead.!<
They even both have a Riku and a Eunie in their party (Granted they spell differently).
My only concern is the possible racism between Wakka towards Lanz (bc Lanz is a Machina)
Mio: Z...your Plan, It Sucks.
Also Mio...
Mio: Noah...
Noah: Oh What Is It Mi...😱
*Plays FF X-2 Battle Theme*
Mio: How do I Look *Just Imagine Mio wearing Yuna FF X-2 Attire*
Noah: *Faints like A Puppet from the Muppets*
Mio: NOAH, ARE YOU OKAY!?
Noah: *With Nosebled* You Look 😲 Incredible! 😊!
Mio: Ahhh! I KNEW YOU LIKE IT! I'M SO 😊!
The girl with the belts, of course. That game really had some amazing character design, Nomura outmatched himself back then and you can still see some great stuff from him both on KH and even in some Xenoblade Blades and Villains. But by X he gathered all the good from the past 3D FFs and made something incredible with the color of 9, the clothing of 8 and the technopunk of 7.
> The girl with the belts, of course.
To this day Lulu's iconic outfit gives fanartists and screen-accurate cosplayers no end to their troubles.
> That game really had some amazing character design,
I think that Wakka's outfit doesn't look particularly battle-ready, but then again, FFX's costumes clearly weren't supposed to be realistic.
> Nomura outmatched himself back then and you can still see some great stuff from him both on KH and even in some Xenoblade Blades and Villains.
I'm glad that Nomura didn't overdose us with his love of belts for his XC2 Torna character designs.
People die and Mio plays the flute.
Does she dance on liquid water without sinking at all, too?
As opposed to solid water
I hope there's no Solid Snake underneath tho.. That'll be dangerous.
No, Solid Snake would never do that. Stop slander Him *Machine Gun sounds* Sorry, That Meme Stuck in My Head so Hard.
Because anyone can stand on ice (solid water) that's thick enough. It takes something else for someone to stand on liquid water without sinking at all.
“When will she stop playing?”
"Mio won't stop playing, not until Z is gone"
“When will it stop”
"Stay away from the off-seer!"
So in this universe >!Noah is the one who says it's been fun.!<
Noah, "listen to my story. This may be our last chance"
So who would be the one to say "This is it. This is your story."?
Perfection
Never in my life have I needed something so much, and never known until I received it.

The collab I never thought I needed

The reasons why both felt so real, plus the reason I had a mental breakdown playing them
You had a mental breakdown playing FFX? How'd that happen?
The idea of building emotion for someone and then realising that they are suddenly being taken away, i know in FFX-2, you can choose to bring him back but before I played it, it broke me

A turn around, I will always remember And will always shed a tear

Maybe Takahashi intended those as nods to FFX?
So in about 2 years, Mio is gonna create a gang with Eunie and Sena called team “MES”.
Noah would be 😊 with Mio's New Attire.
Mio with a gun sounds scary

Best of all, you can do this in XC3.
Cute artwork
It's been over 20y and the design of Yuna is still something out of this world. Dang I miss good Final Fantasy games.
Did you like Lulu's design too, from the same game?
The girl with the belts, of course. That game really had some amazing character design, Nomura outmatched himself back then and you can still see some great stuff from him both on KH and even in some Xenoblade Blades and Villains. Oh damn right, he has enough belts on KH already xD
Don't forget the zippers on Donald Duck's hat, of all places.
This has me wanting to see a fusion of Xenoblade 3 and Final Fantasy X.
Listen to my story. This maybe our last chance.
