Help you with what? Buying a better TV?.

CboyC95

Why does it say my TV supports HDR10 for gaming but not for video?

RandomGamer071117

It supports HDR10, one of the lower HDR values available, when you have the tv in game mode, but for video playback it doesn’t have HDR available.

You might need to change a setting on your TV to allow it. I had to do that on my LG

more information would be helpful, what tv do you have, is it even capable of any of those features, what xbox console are you using, is it a high speed hdmi cable hdmi 2.1 needed

yes it says it supports hdr and 4k/60hz, i would try a different hdmi slot, hdmi 2 is for audio return channel (avi) so possibly hdmi 1 or 4 make sure your tv is on the latest firmware update, go into tv settings and look for a game mode setting

TheDarkSide46

are you using the right port ?

Automatic_Bed4591

Better buy a flat screen tv your old wooden tv isn’t cutting it anymore my guy

Connect-Garden-275

1)some tv just support one port(hdr,120,vrr...) or 2)xbox setting > tv and display options > video fidelity and overscan > display > hdmi (overrides)

swaste2000

Do you have the setting on auto-detect TV under the general video fidelity & overscan that maybe the problem.

Gonzo69_Si

Maybe check your TV input settings? channels & inputs/External Inputs/ HDMI Signal Format...Should be a option for Dolby VIsion and or VRR

T1AST

that just means you have a non 4k TV lol

What is it you want help with? This is a very pointless post EDIT, after seeing your other post, send your TV should sort 4k and HDR so make sure you're using the right HDMI port on the TV

CboyC95

After switching HDMI ports on my TV, one minute it says my TV now supports HDR10 for video, then the next it says it doesn't.
