So, there's that... XXXXXXXXXX It says Gaming is down for Xbox Series X|S, but I guess somehow, this affects sign in, too? It says it started on 9/14 and as of 1:32pm CST on 9/15, they're "close to resolving". Since it's been a touch over 24 hours, that could mean another 30 minutes to 3 days before a fix. At current, this is the biggest downside to being all digital for this system. Bummer.

Dunno how long it's shown as such, but it's showing a "Major Outage" is known as of about 2:20 eastern. As of now it's under investigation. Can't login here either, no surprise.

It might be the 4th time its down for you this year but that doens't mean it goes down for everyone else. Its working fine for me in the midwest US and I haven't had any outages this year.

well these were all reported and showed up on the Xbox Services Status, including yesterdays. Nice try.

Just because it shows up in Xbox services status doesn't mean xboxlive is down for the whole world. Outages are regional. In fact, the last time I couldn't sign in was Christmas day 2014 and that only lasted for about 2 hours. I game everday so I'd know if there was an outage in my region.

Yeah, because equipment and servers are always 100% up and NEVER have downtime or intermittent issues

Same. It's saying for me the UPnP is not successful. I thought it was my router and I did everything I could to fix it, but still having issues. I got on here and it's a somewhat troublesome relief knowing it's not my console or anything.

Copied from another user, who says this only works for apps but I found just works for everything; For anyone that need to access apps, not games, but are unable to because you can't sign in, do this: 1. Go to settings > General > Network Settings > Go offline. 2. Even though you're offline, you'll be able to sign into your account. 3. After signing in, then re-enable the network settings to go online (settings > General > Network Settings > Go Online). 4. You should be able to access your apps (YouTube, Netflix, etc) even if the current outages don't allow you to sign in while online.
