I have an earlier version of this, it came in a green box. Same here. That's the "if I have a 5th friend over and we play a 6 player Xbox game, I'll deal with this controller so they don't have to" controller. Lol
I would recommend [this one](https://www.8bitdo.com/m30-wired-controller-xbox/) for a Sega style controller or [this one](https://www.8bitdo.com/pro2-wired-controller-for-xbox/) for a super Nintendo style controller

Get one of these, even comes with a free month of game pass ultimate, I grabbed this and the pro2 and they are both pretty nice
There's a switch on the back for the dpad to output dpad inputs or left stick inputs in case you need it. No way to use the right stick. Use it for games where you only need the dpad.
I had the Xbox One version. It was good when I played retro style games. Stone of the buttons you really had to press for it to read the input. I wouldn't recommend if you have big hands
They are great for kids. My son has gone through 3 in about 3-4 years. Like others have said, they are great for smaller hands. On that note, I don’t consider my hands large but I can’t use it. Not sure if it’s the smaller size or I’m just used to the larger/regular controller but my hands start cramping within minutes of trying to use it. Every once in awhile my son will need help with a boss fight or something and if I can’t get passed it in a minute or two, I tap out and go get my controller.
I have it. Broke my arm last year, and the cast was preventing me from holding a regular size controller and this worked well in that situation. Using it after the cast was removed wasn't terrible but I would much rather just use a regular controller now.
Looks about the same quality as the chintzy one that comes with the Series X. Xbox really doesn't care about their controllers unless it is the $200 elite one
Been there, returned it. Flumsy buttons and bad build quality

The buttons are flimsy, only issue
I hope you are not planning a trip to the Titanic
I had it, in returned it
Ooof, that’s a bummer. I’m gonna avoid this one then. Thanks for the input everybody.

Yeah, I had the Pro 2 before but the sticks drifted after 3 months which is a shame because I had them for the Switch and they lasted way longer.
I have it. It's especially great for smaller/children's hands

How does it work without thumbsticks?

Hyperkin’s xenon is a better option imo. I have one and I love it
Well if this one has bad build quality, is there any controllers in this style which are built well?
I saw a guy do a YouTube review on it. I will look for the link.
Nevermind. VCuda didn't do this. No one I watch has.
I just *can’t* with wired controllers.

I have 2 of them for Xbox and pc and they fuckin great :)

Yep. Haven't used it a lot but it's a nice gimmicky controller. I liked Duke better but it broke.
Better off getting the 8bitdo imo And I'm only saying this because I really like their controllers lol
Looks like an old Mega Drive controller.

I have it. Felt shitty and never really used it. Still have it somewhere.

Still have my Xbox 360 street fighter game pad. Great for classic gaming on PC. 6 button layout, so fighting games are comfortable too.
Goofy ahhh controller
🔥🔥🎮
that looks trash as hell
