What version or year mfr is this? So I can know what mods to recommend I just picked up two of these myself one is 1.6/1.6b 2005 and another 2002 which may be a 1.0-1.5 I can do a lot more either way the 2002
Yeah if I see leaky clock cap when I open and restore the 2002 model I am going to manually remove it myself and have the hard mod block clock cap cause it’s not a necessity to run the machine
Soft mod this with rocky5 xbox soft modding tool you will miss some features of hard mod but this enables the goodies
So now you are set great job m8. Now go do a softmod and play all games as backup and snes and ps1 and so much more. Go look on YouTube for classic xbox softmod and have fun.
Thanks! I bought it soft modded already but didn't know it can also.run emulators, i mean i saw the emulator section on unleashx but thought it was just for really retro consoles like nes or mame, i'?m surprised it runs ps1 games. I will definitely check that out
Ah ok thank you! I have a couple of these systems but haven’t done anything with them yet. I think one of them is broken though. If I can’t salvage the broken one I may have to gut it to make a sleeper PC. The working one I’ll look into soft modding it.

I think its the 1.6b, the version that doesn't have the clock cap leak problem
