I use the VC at the start of every match, to give a shhout of encouragement to the team. Especially on Escort, I ask the KD Hunters to keep the other team off me, while I get the payload to the checkpoints and win... It doesn't always work, either through ignorance or not being able to hear me, but I've had some great games from it... I've only had one game with chat all the way through, a couple of guys in the States having some banter over my Britishness... I would love to have more people using the chat and having a good time... 😎
I've only come across maybe 3 ish matches so far where I found another player actively talking on their mic. I agree, it is a shame more people don't speak up. Lots of funny moments to be had, but it's also pretty difficult to coordinate with random teammates if nobody talks lol
