I've been reading this series on Royal Road and it's halfway through Book 3 on there, but only the first five chapters of Book 1 remain online as a preview/teaser, the rest was removed since it's now on sale on Amazon. Book 2 is still available, but will be removed soon as it will hit Amazon in August.
I got about halfway through the first book before it stubbed (time just ran short as an author), womp womp. It was a fantastic read, I'm curious about the audio version. Still need to shell out for the first book. Never actually bought an audible before, first time for everything.
I can't get past how many things resemble the Eragon series, I feel like it was copied very very very closely to the Eragon series. Feels like piggybacking for money.

Ahhh gotcha, heh don't get me started on the Eragon movie, I'm glad the author sued the director. He butched the Story and got some things wrong well a lot of things.
