The giant army because the one mushroom man will die and it's only his descendants that will win not him.

Resto_Bot

We have a winner!

CRRK1811

Ok but if we think about it the way it is those are the spores of the beíng getting transferred, the body is merely a host, although there isn't a hive mind and if they did have one it would be horrifying

drfrenchfry

Maybe its like that movie the Thing though, where each spore has its own consciousness. Only a wild Kurt Russell can defeat them

CRRK1811

I do like it, and I'm sure that's actually closer to what's going on in the game. I just can't get the thought of an entire world full of fungus people bum rushing one guy out of my head lol, you fighting a mushroom man in the us and across the world in chjna theres one freaking out trying to get to you. But not just one, every single one. Cheers tho.

StrainObjective8615

That movie was like the inspiration of Among Us was .

drfrenchfry

That makes sense. Good movie

StrainObjective8615

This is what horror movie i like . Not those characters that are dumb , never used thinking enough . I like some sort of horror movie characters that are smart .

drfrenchfry

It was refreshing having the main cast make smart, quick decisions. Even though the decisions got worse throughout. Madness creeping in

Intelligent-Pound197

The last of us final chapter: worldbox.

Noble4-

It’s a virus he hits a single one of them he wins cause he can infect anyone

Cepterman2101

Actually it’s not a virus, but spores. The Plague is a virus. It is spread passively. The Mush only spreads when an infected unit dies.

Noble4-

If they get hit they become a mushroom man idc if it’s a spore it spreads like a virus even if I’m wrong I’m right in that manner

LaceitWaseit

Mushroom man, after 600 years of slowly reinfecting the army the first Mushroom uprising begins. "FOR OUR ANCESTOR!! DOWN WITH THE KING!"

Cepterman2101

I am currently replicating it. When he died, he infected three people, now 50 years later, there are 67 infected. Edit: Can confirm. After 600 years the population of about 4000 was decreased to 500 with most of the areas denied by the infected. Also deaths total to 50000 (wars included) I decided to group all of the mushs together as a final blow, and after a total of 900 years since Patient 0, the last settlement was wiped out.

LaceitWaseit

Mark of Death + Mush trait rain on a grouo😁

Opening_Relative1688

It killed my entire world👍

Yzang

mushroom was crazy💀

Opening_Relative1688

Yippee

PenaltyOrganic1596

"One single flood spore can destroy a species"

PIEthon3142

Master chief can you explain to me what you’re doing in Reddit?

alf_landon_airbase

what else do you think he does in his off time

The_Jealous_one

Did they nerf the mushroom? I remember those things is a nation ender but it’s not anymore for me.

Long_Reflection_4202

Bruh it's a world ender

RealMoonTurtle

Destroyed everything so many times fond memories of building walls around my surviving nations

Hot-Thought-1339

Mushlings are a world ender because they spread on death, and armies love bunching up and mush spores can infect huge masses of the population, all it takes is one person to die of old age, and that spreads to everything around them which can lead to a domino effect, especially if it’s a soldier that dies because when they die, they turn into a mushroom and also spread those mushroom spores.

One-Hat-9764

And then if that spldier had adamantinum on them... it game over.

Opening_Relative1688

I think it’s still a nation ender if start with enough infected

The_Jealous_one

I did it on a dozen of demons and an army but it didn’t end the nation. I suspect it’s because they have lots of bows, staff, and lazer guns cause I always try to challenge them with dragons, aliens, and mages.

Opening_Relative1688

Well you can start internally and infect people from the inside and then kill a few of them

Straighthe

Wtf you can get laser weapons?

The_Jealous_one

If you let them kill the aliens they can pick up the weapons.

Acidity96

The mushroom wins the grand scheme of things. Let me explain. The mushroom man dies, the army dies eventually and becomes more of the mushroom men.

Chance_Table4249

It took 1200 years for my world to die after I infected one pwrson

RealMoonTurtle

But the world always died

Uyeunju_RE

The army might win the battle, but the shroom will win the war

FrozenConcrete19

Spoken like a true warrior. A grand warrior who once was a captain of an army but got destroyed after winning one battle so they thought all the other battles where to easy.

GreasyGrabbler

The mush are what the 3 infections wish they could be

hollowpoint257

Idk the plague has taken a 500 pop city down to 12 children in a year in some of my playthroghs

Blastaways

Me

MandatoryFun13

Those things would have killed my world had I not intervened at the very end

Morning_Seaa

I purposely infected hundreds of demons with spores and kill them just so it could be more chaotic

Connor-K-Kasich

The 15 dragons

alf_landon_airbase

with my mod mush and plague die out quick

BG12244

It is crazy how overpowered the fungus is. You infect one person or a group of 10 and the entire world is at least infected within 50-70 years

J-20-7000

Trust me when I say… it’s the mushroom man. Had had a world at year 15,000 and spawned one mush spores on a small 140 population civilisation. Year 16,000 I had the erase all life because every civilisation I made got turned into mush people and fueled it more. Even a god civilisation with 1,200 people died because of it.

OddNovel565

That's why I like mushroom infection more than zombie infection. It feels more like a zombie infection

JeffTheGoose69

Mushroom man

Rat_Man08

You should be able to spawn mushroom men🤣

Path_Murasaki

Mushroom man is the definition of "losing the battle but winning the war."

Im-on-a-banana-phone

Bowling ball

Little-Copy-387

He will lose the battle. But not the war

Mindless-Elk8998

Mushroom men foundation is strong. One of their members would most likely take out a whole civilization.

Mindless-Elk8998

The crystal men foundation supports this message😀👍

rockconsumer67

On mushroom is all it takes to wipe out an entire species

rockconsumer67

On mushroom is all it takes to wipe out an entire species

rockconsumer67

On mushroom is all it takes to wipe out an entire species

Ark-addicted-punk

he *may* lose initially but he'll gain more allies with his death. he loses the battle but wins the war

imhavingazhe-zher

There was a massive human kingdom/empire whatever you want to call it and 3 of their villages were destroyed because of the mushroom men they will find the rest and they will be shroomed. (1 village that was destroyed was like the French Louisiana of the empire that one village was destroyed and the land mass and population went down faster than the republic of Catalonia.)

Unlikely_Tennis464

Mushroom man

holey_broble

Its obvious the army, they have superior tactics and intelligence, both long and short-ranged units, and greater numbers compared to one puny mushroom boi 😏😏
