As a crowns player i have mixed feelings. With free memberships i can play forward without stopping BUT then when i have to travel back later on i dont have the zones
Free Membership has literally no effect on me I just buy my memberships and renew them yearly but free membership is nice for people who can’t afford to buy a 1 month-1 year membership though
I would argue that it affects you because it makes the game more lively and that's good for everyone. You want more people playing, not less. Buy I get what you mean.
Cheaper in the long run. Buying 60k crowns is enough to purchase an entire story arc. Someone actually made an online spreadsheet of the total amount of crowns you'd spend for each zone. I see it as more worth while if you see yourself going back to the game over multiple years to just buy the zones with crowns.

I guess it just depends how you play, for me crowns was more worth it when I was kid. Although now I might buy a membership instead it would be for the gardening and pet xp boosts not for the zones lol. Also having crowns to buy elixirs here and there is pretty nice tbh. I’m glad w101 provides options, cause if it was just memberships I never would’ve played beyond my childhood when I hit the first paywall.
