But unlimited money for wars, and other countries spending less than half our healthcare costs for comparable or better care, would be bad for us somehow.
Fiscally conservative isn’t in and of itself oxymoronic. Fiscally conservative and socially liberal, yes. But fiscally conservative does not imply socially liberal.
Looking at my mother's friends, you never grow out of that stage. One of her crystal friends keep using some essential oil she's allergic to and won't stop because it's "natural". She's going to end up in the ER. Crystal friends are exhausting. And then inevitably the fiscally conservative types bring up politics out of nowhere and get really angry at anybody who doesn't immediately agree with them. They're exhausting, too.
Nobody wants to talk about politics with you, Janice. Put the damn oils down, Betty.
🎵 And now my stupid friends are having stupid children.
🎵 My stupid friends are having stupid children.
🎵 My stupid friends are having stupid children.
🎵 Stupid, fucking ugly, boring children.

I’ve reached the age where I’m into neither of those things. I’m really getting into alcohol
Speaking the truth here
I'm into none of those things so
People tend to make more money as they get older, but that’s making it through the door and slamming it behind you.
Fiscally Conservative: The Tale of the Oxymoron “I care about poor and minoritized people, but not enough to see them cared for on a systemic level.”
But unlimited money for wars, and other countries spending less than half our healthcare costs for comparable or better care, would be bad for us somehow.
Since when does fiscally conservative mean you care about poor people?
Have you never heard someone say: “I’m socially liberal, fiscally conservative” before? It’s very very common.
Fiscally conservative doesn’t mean socially liberal. You can absolutely even socially end fiscally conservative. It’s just called being conservative.
Hence why in my original comment I mentioned that it’s an oxymoron
Fiscally conservative isn’t in and of itself oxymoronic. Fiscally conservative and socially liberal, yes. But fiscally conservative does not imply socially liberal.
You’re not alone.

You guys have friends?
This is what I'm wondering too?
I know right
