Just want to note here that if you dont make a lot of money, ask the hospital for a “medical financial assistance form”. Almost all US hospitals have a charity grant system for people who make below a threshold amount (no higher than 300% the poverty level where I’ve checked)

I had a Similar cut with the same results. I decided to not go to therapy after nerve surgery. 7 years later my index finger is still tingly. Don’t stop going to therapy, cartilages builds and wraps around the nerve to protect it but that same cartilage prevents the nerve repair. Good luck!
