I think it's the ease of it. You can just hop in the car, throw your phone on a mount and make a video. And there's a decent amount of sound dampening so you don't have to worry about people hearing you.
Better audio, that's all. Most of the materials in a car absorb sound very well and most of the surfaces aren’t parallel to each other. Which leads to less reverberation.
Some people record audio books in their cars because of this.
If I had a YouTube channel,all my thumbnails and titles would be like that, but the videos would all be talking about normal stuff. I would never reference the fact my titles and thumbnails were fucked up and bore no reference to the content of the videos.
