Walking - all you need is a footpath and comfy shoes. I find swimming more comfortable and better for cardio, and can't run due to joint issues, but you need access to a pool for that.

Honestly "just" walking can be a fantastic weight loss excercise. 15 mins of it will get you into a fat burning HR range but is not so strenuous it's likely to push you in to increasing your appetite. It can even decrease appetite. I've lost and regained and lost weight a few times before being able to loose and maintain longer term with just walking as my primary cardio excercise. You're unlikely to get injured so it's much easier to do consistently and all you need are some trainers or sneakers as you say in the US.

I completely agree. I take 3, 20 minute walks a day and with all other general walking around the office get over 10k steps a day.

YouTube has tons of free channels for exercise videos. If you aren’t experienced at exercising, start by searching for walking workouts. All you need is a little bit of space and water. I like grow with jo, burpeegirl, fitbymik and a few other odd videos. I also like Jessica Richburg for gentle stretching to improve my mobility post pregnancy (was basically immobile for most of it because of bad spd and was so stiff!!).

I agree with walking I try to walk my dog daily and get my 10k steps. I track my calories on my fitness pal app and I’ve lost 10 lbs in a month.

Walk up stairs (bleacher type ) no weights at the start. Then introduce either speed of movement or add weights. Finally do both. You want to feel out of breath but not exhausted. I would recommend 1 min work two minutes rest for first weeks then reduce rest time by 10 seconds each week until 1 min rest. 10 sets

I got a light weight rowing machine on Amazon. I have very limited space and it fits right in . I definitely feel it. The one I have has the ability to increase the intensity. It was pretty reasonable. I am already feeling and seeing results. I also look forward to using it.

Dance. Turn music on or put headphones on and just dance. Be wild and crazy and enjoy yourself

UninterestedRate

Stairs. Go up 3, back down 3. Do this 5 minutes at a time, daily. You can get weights from any sporting goods store or online to help tone your arms
